I have been there. The escort of your spouse to the airport when you know you are staying behind is the most heart wrenching part. The emotions of emptiness and wonderings!

Your husband mentioned that during his time away from you, your appreciation of the work he did to support the family helped. Husbands need their wives' appreciation for what they do to support their family. That's beautiful.

My long-distance struggle has to do with the separation between me and my sister.
Almost 12 years ago, my husband decided to move together with me and our then 3-year-old daughter from Ghana to the US to further his studies.
Due to immigration, issues, we are not able to visit Ghana as often as we would like.
We use WhatsApp to make up for the loss of in-person contact but there are times I would like to be close to her in person to support her.
I can relate to how you felt in the early days of your marriage- being pregnant and separated from your husband.

But Brother Jono, please dont leave your wife when she is expecting if it is possible. Am told pregnancy hormones make expectant mothers intensly desire their husbands's love and intimacy during that time. I have heard several pregnant women testify to this reality....So i think when expecting, its important for the husband to be close to his wife...if the experiences shared by expectant married women are true.

Haha, a lot of women say that. I would honestly say that every woman is different most especially if you have christ. Thanks dearly 💖 how have you been we missed you here...haha
