I thought my ps4s time was coming to an end until i found this video. Its like brand new again all thats left is to clean the inside of it haha
I never cleaned mine and I have ps4 fat first version. It still runs great. I don't trust console services because they might damage my console, and I don't know how to open inside of ps4 so I just ignore cleaning

I have a PS4 Slim I put an SSD HDD in it, it’s like a whole new PS it loads really quick the frame rate is noticeably higher gonna find out my true frame rate later I’ve heard you press F3 or F8 on a keyboard to get a FPS counter on PS4/5

Ps4 also rebuilds database when you unplug it while its on and the turn it back on. But its not recommended

When you change the video output to 720 it zooms the screen in a bit and cuts some of the game screen off. I just got a 2 Terra byte external hard drive to store my games data to. Frees up allot of space on your system.

changing ps4 resolution doesnt do anything, because its output resolution and not render resolution, placebo effect? or maybe TV not being able to handle it for some dumb reason

Can you do this if you use an external hard drive plugged into USB?
Not quite sure, external HDD uses USB interface, however, the internal HDD of the ps4 uses SATA interface. Better load the entire contents of your external HDD to the ps4 then try rebuilding database

@@carsandzombies8257 Although, every time you boot on your ps4, connect the EHDD to USB interface. Neverthless, you have to sacrfice the performance. EHDD are extremely plodding

A huge difference is possible if you swap over to a SSD. Worked wonders for me

@@ight2060 hdd require moving parts and ssds are solid state drives so there isnt any moving parts and they just are a heck a lot faster

All other games runs smoothly, loading is fine. I have good internet too, but when im playing gta online it feels so buggy and rendering is slow. Things popping up right and left.

If it’s very buggy laggy try setting your TV to game mode if that’s an option on your TV. It took my lag completely away

Just a little tip as long as your playstaion has about 150 gb storage left it should run pretty well
