I finally have words to describe watching you FewCandy.... Anyone that asks about your videos, I tell them FewCandy is the Bob Ross of CS 1/2. Thank you for what you do.
Wow, that was some really good suggestions from the community. The detailing on the Garden Center is quintessential Few. The commercial properties seem overly generic, despite all the signage the game throws in, so this is a great way to spice up a business and make it unique. It now looks like THE go-to place in Fewladelphia for all your garden needs.
Pretty fun to see a new video from you, start it up, and hear you mention me! I had forgotten that I posted about the government buildings and green space. I love the castle ruins, though, we don't get to see any of that in the US so I tend to forget about that option! Cheers!
@fewcandy Well, always worth the wait. I freaking LOVE the garden center. I must have missed a previous episode where you made one. Was that CS1 or CS2? I'd really like to watch the extended version, because I'm absolutely inspired for my new build ❤️
@@pcdosgirl Ahh thank you! It was in CS1, a long time ago in Auridon. It's this video here, the episode is essentially a massive 'out of town' industrial/commercial centre, which includes a ton of little builds like a household waste and recycling centre, and then the garden centre. I think the garden centre is around 38 mins in if you just wanted to see that part! But this is one of my favourite builds I've ever done actually, lots of little details that could be replicated into CS2 for sure! ua-cam.com/video/4XUUEoFdJtQ/v-deo.htmlsi=mPn--uf8Dk3eArLO
@@fewcandy yay, more videos to study! But CS1 had so much detailing paraphernalia... Still, what you did in this video is awesome so I'm totally motivated to make a garden center 😊 The visitor center at the castle might have a small playground, I sort of remember there being those when I lived in Germany back in the 70s. That's the only suggestion I can think of. Thanks Few, your videos are exceptional! You're definitely one of my all-time favorite youtubers 👍🏼❤️💙👍🏼
Love this build, Few! The garden center came at the perfect time as our neighborhood garden center just announced they are closing after 71 years of business. The community around here is very sad and this helped cheer me up!
Whenever you say "trust me, it will get better" I always know it will. Turned out fantastic, cant wait to see the rest of the build. I love some greenspace areas.
Absolutely loving the castle detailing!! I think that looks incredible and I love the creativity of repurposing the small little parks to get people milling about. 🥰🥰🥰 Auridon Point 🥰🥰🥰
Wow! Thanks for the shout out and your detailing in CS 2 is next level! Love the garden center and the castle! I did not tell you before but one of my first jobs was in a garden center. You nailed it! Really fun . Oh! and the castle walls hack from the standing stones was so creative.Another Few Candy masterpiece!
Loved the fort-build, but what stood out to me was the garden center. It's super cute and really got me inspired to do something similar in my current city-build!
The castle ruin looks great! I think there would probably be more visitors once you build up the surrounding area. For the new builds next to the Gordie Bay FC, I'm thinking a sport village would probably be more suitable since it would be loud. The athletes would need a place to live nearby and train, visiting teams need dormitories too.
Hey Fewcandy, you’ve done an amazing job with this build! The castle looks incredible, and I absolutely love how it turned out. One idea I had is to develop the area around the castle with some winding paths and green spaces, turning it into Fewladelphia's own 'Castle Park' like a Central Park. It could add a beautiful, tranquil vibe to the area. I also think the football stadium is a fantastic addition and will fit perfectly with the city’s vibe. For the surrounding area, how about incorporating something like Vajnorské Jazerá in Slovakia? Small weekend villas or cottages around the park could really add character and charm, creating a unique blend of nature, leisure, and community for the city.
I like the style of the castle ruins and the corner for the garden center is a good choice. I also like the general plan, but I think, I would reconsider the position of the "new builds". If they are supposed to be rich peoples homes, I think, they would rather avoid to put them right next to a loud football club. If you extend the park to that spot and put them next to the road which goes around the castles - with individual driveways they would have much more desireable lots. And they would be connected to the FC by footpaths through the park in between those mansions.
Yes, how wonderful to be back in Fewladelphia! I have been following you for a few months now. Love your play style, I get so much inspiration out of it! Regarding the cliff textures: perhaps you should check out the VividCities 4k map theme? The cliff texture looks very realistic and could be a good fit for the cliff around your castle 😊
Hi Few, I love that castle 🏰 But could I suggest some points? - The benches on the outer path could be faced towards the castle, so they can rest and enjoy the castle? - On the outer path, you could also put some information boards & animation for children ( like tools, stalls, guns ) of the former castle? - And we need flags!! Flaaaaaaags 😅
I could see Hyacinth Bucket forcing Richard to drive them up to that castle because she has to somehow convince the Vicar and others that she's related to royalty.
Hi Candy! If you don’t like the road markings on the alley road in the garden centre, you can get the road wear remover from Paradox Mods. Happy New Year! 🎉
Thank you! Yep I know about that one, but for some strange reason I quite like it on the actual roads themselves haha! It's a conundrum of mine! Happy new year to you too!
@@fewcandy there's another mod that's a little more recent (I think) that allows you to adjust the opacity of the road wear markings instead of getting rid of them completely, which I like a lot. Makes it easier to blend them because I think the vanilla look is a little strong and unnatural, but I do think the roads look kind of naked if you get rid of the wear entirely. Might be worth checking out to see if you can find a setting that you like!
This area turned out very beautiful but I think the big rocks are out of place especially in that castle but outside too. Just ask yourself: where would these rocks come from? Wouldn't the barons or whoever lived there have the rocks removed before building their new home?
@@fewcandy I'm especially talking about the very big rock(s) in the inside of the castle. Maybe the rocks which you used for the outer walls - or what's left of them - are better for this purpose because they could've been colums.
Something else: You're using the parking roads for your parking lots, as opposed to the ACTUAL parking lots? 🤨 Never thought of doing it like that... 🤔😏
can you not use the oak or alder trees but sink them in the ground using the elevation so the top just poking out .. that looks really nice for overgrowth around the castle
@fewcandy iv just recently come across your channel and watched countless hours at this point and with the detail you put into your builds I was sat there scratching my head at why you hadn't 🤣
@@BobbyHoskins1016 I'm scratching my head now too, why on earth would I sink those tiny little bushes and not think of that?! I can only put it down to some kind of months long brain malfunction! 🤣 I owe you an awful lot, you'll see me sinking trees left right and centre now haha! Huge shout out coming for you in the next ep!! ❤
I love the addition of the castle as a massive history nerd you've made my afternoon sitting down to watch you build it ❤ If there is a way to place some pillars for the wall toppled over it would add to the look of it being a ruined castle just a suggestion, though idk how doable that is on CS 2 PS thank you for the shout out was a nice surprise 😮
Ahh thank you! I typically do post regularly (weekly minimum), and have done up until recently, but the last 3-4 months I've been renovating my new house, which alongside a full time job and being a single mum to 5 year old twins has made it very difficult to find the time (and energy when I did have time!) to record and edit. I moved in just before Christmas so content will now be much more regular with weekly Fewladelphia episodes at a minimum!
It’s not actually a Philadelphia inspired city, that was purely the name people voted for! However because of that I will be taking a lot of inspo from the city for the downtown when we come to that. But it’s just a fantasy city of no particular origin at the end of the day!

Garden centres, where I spend more on coffee and shortbread than plants. A lovely addition to the city!
