Angel's Envy Rye Caribbean Rum vs Ice Cider Review

In episode 72 of Whisky in SV, I did a side-by-side comparison of the core Angel's Envy Rum which is finished in Caribbean rum casks, against a sample of the limited edition Angel's Envy Ice Cider Cask which was released a couple of years ago. In my humble opinion, the Caribbean rum cask variant is so heavily doused in rum that you may mistake it for actual rum! However, despite me not being a particularly big fan of rum, somehow I really dig the uniqueness of this product. The Ice Cider release, on the other hands, is a much more sophisticated experience with more traditionally familiar notes. However, there is also nothing truly unique about it compared to the Caribbean rum cask product. In the end of the day, given the availability and uniqueness of the Caribbean rum finished product, it is the one that is likely to always be replenished on my bar and recommended to other fellow whisky enthusiasts! #whiksyinsv • Angel's Envy Rye Carib...
