Thank you so much for this video! I was gifted a bunch of boucle and had no idea how to work with it. Now I’ll add another yarn and make a blanket. Really needed these tips.
Hi, thank you for the video . I bought some multicoloured yarn, similar to that first yarn you used. Your video was great to watch and understand. I have crochet for a long time. This yarn I bought is so soft and gorgeous, I am hoping to make a couple of baby blankets with it. Thank you.
Thanks so much. Good tips, especially the one about using another yarn with it to help see the stitches. I have mostly avoided novelty yarns, but may be more encouraged to try it now!
I bought some beautiful Baby Soft Boucle yarn in the USA a few years ago on a trip, and I had no idea how to use it. The tip about a dark hook, and adding another yarn is going to work for me! I am now looking forward to using the 12 balls I bought for $1.29 each on sale. I couldn't resist the deal, but I had only been crocheting for a few months, so I had no idea what I was in for!
Thank you for this. I've had hand me down skeins of go for faux for so long and I just can't bring myself to even bother trying. BUT I just got a ton of Lionbrand Homespun (discontinued but in the same week L+T came out with a yarn that's nearly identical) and I paired it with a single color yarn and it was so easy to see the stitches. Also for whatever reason the crunch stitch is pronounced enough that it's pretty difficult to mess up spaces and counts. I just wanted to add a tip I learned last night, because I got impatient and worked with novelty yarn without prior experience or swatching so I am having to frog a good chunk of what was going to be a blanket and I saw another person recommend putting boucle yarn or anything that is tough to frog in the freezer beforehand, it keeps the fibers from sticking together. I thought it was a super helpful tip and thought to pass it on. Thanks again
Hi I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I just love what you have to say about the special yarn I'll be watching every day for more information on future up coming video s.
Thank you Brenda! We have new videos out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11 am eastern time. Sometimes they are yarn reviews, product reviews, tips and tricks, or crochet alongs 💜
Any tips for working with this type of yarn in the round? Every time I've used it, the fluffy side always ends up on the inside of my stuffed animals 😣

That gray and lavender is gorgeous together.....great tips, I don't buy a lot of novelty yarns because they're so tricky (and a tad pricey 😅)💜
