I usually send each student a video of the previous class to help them practice, the cloud has been filling up fast, so I thought by uploading them to UA-cam instead each student could have an online archive of their lessons. Furthermore, it may help others too.

Thank you so much for the upload buddy I'm on my 3rd 4th chord now your video explains it so easily I find it hard going from 2nd to the 3rd chords I will get used to it it's only been a day and I'm only just starting to learn on a guitar 😊
That's great buddy, I'm so happy to hear this! Practice as slow as possible and focus on your left hand finger movements. It may sound like an oxymoron put the slower we practice in the beginning the faster we will learn it. I have another video on my channel about Travis picking which you may find useful. as a beginner what would you say would be the best way to help with picking the right strings and spreading out the hand to play those larger chords? I started about a week ago and I have been having a lot of issues with that. Thanks!
Always play slow! Let your plucking hand touch the strings before you play them. Sounds obvious, right? But a lot of people attack the string from the air and don't make contact with it for a nano second before they play; thus they readily make mistakes. Your comment raises some valid questions for beginners. I'll be recording a few videos this afternoon and weekend. I can do you one on those two questions, if you want?
