This really does show how difficult the snap shot standard actually is. You’re doing great, I hope you keep making shooting videos!
Good job dude. Way to push yourself. So many guys go to the range with no gradeable standard. Love my scout.
Really nice job. At least your doing this not on a flat range but more in real world snow and rain conditions. I'm a fan of your setup with the scout rifle, belt and sidearm.
another well done and cheers
this video is just perfect. keep it up.
Your video happened to pop up on an unrelated search. Glad I found it. Great bolt work on that scout! Very evident you’ve practiced. Well done.
Just found your channel today, love the honesty and practical comments.
Keep up posting I love your content
Good Stuff Sir. More Videos!!
Amazing video thanks and keep it up!
Also I love that 1911 you got there
Nice shooting. Fast and accurate. And love that hat!
Thanks DW, Be well.
Great stuff Don! Hope all is well. Lean into it and your muzzle will rise less which will give you a faster follow up. Later man!
that is some excellent practical advice Sir.
@@thomasglasscock2570 there’s a solution for everything! Respectfully me
@@TJackSurvival Yes Sir. Absolutely.
총도 잘 쏘고 못하는게 뭐야 대체
Aha, another person who knows how to run a bolt gun smoothly! I hope that you can refine the running of the bolt because you can go faster, it seems (it looks like you were hesitating a bit, a little slow when opening and closing, but you were using that "dead time" to line up another shot, which is something that too many people with bolt guns don't do). Maybe concentrate more on the rearward and forward thrust? That's what I heard from other excellent bolt gun shooters.
And please, more videos like this!
Great video. Greetings from Sweden.
Great idea
dun dun dance👍🏻❤
I think that standard might have a flaw in it. Snap shooting at close distance is an area target not a point target. So you should be shooting anywhere from the pelvis to the neck.
Jeff Cooper wrote the COF in "Art of the Rifle".
@@OnTheScout Yes Sir. And I don't doubt his wisdom. I might be wrong with my critique, but there ain't any man made wisdom out there that couldn't use some critique. Mainly I was tryin to say I thought your shootin was good.
By the by, I got that area target standard from Carlos Hathcock. So, I reckon, properly speaking its less of my critique, and more of a conversation between two of the greatest particle marksmen that ever walked the planet.
great video
I have to try this with my M39.
Please post the video results!
