Once again, Mikey, you rock! For the longest time, I’ve also used a small piece of plastic on the hook shank, but I started using red on all of them and then put my chunk on. I really believe Fish Key in on red on any bait you throw!!!!! Keep the great Videos coming give dogs, pet for me! Lol
Thanks Mikey! I saw someone on UA-cam use hair scissors that cut random lengths on some of the strands. I think they are used for feathering hair. One blade is normal and the other has teeth. Thoughts?
I like your mods brotherman. When you are putting that chunk worm filler on, make 1/2 inch longer (1.25 inches or so) and when you thread it on, come out about a quarter inch early. When you add your chunk, like you prefer, it will ensure the craw can’t drop back in a negative position. Very similar but slightly different. Best of luck Balzzy!
@@mikeybalzzfor some reason I wasn't given a option to comment unless I did it this way. I have been ordering and using the BOSS ball head jig for a few years now. I wanted to know do you use the regular one with mustard hook (4 per pack) or the Brent ehrler one with the gamakstsu hook (3 per pack)? I can not tell any difference at all in the hooks, I have examined and re-examined over and over but can not see the difference besides 4 per with the mustad and 3 per with the gammy. Oh and I use them for flipping in wood (as long as it isn't super gnarly) and they work great. Thanks for any input on the difference. Keep smashing.
@michaelsheppard4227 it's interesting you run it around wood I would hang it a lot when I throw it around wood.on Rock it's awesome but trying to fish a brush pile I get it hung all the time
@@mikeybalzz ain't holding your mouth right lol. It's not heavy thick brush I throw it in I've got a special jig for those situations that never ever gets hung unless I'm in heavy heavy current. It'll come through a rolled up window on a vehicle without hanging.
Jigs catch bigs.... you aint lying I have at least 1 on my front deck all year long. This is one of my favorite times a year to fish Toledo Bend. Luckily I'm on a deer least about 5 mins from my camp on the lake so I'll hit the woods in the am and fish the rest of the day. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Love the brush guard juice.

I place my trailer the opposite way so the smooth side is toward the fish, without the ridge pointing out. Just saying great content, learning a lot!
Great jig video ! Enjoy ya brutha thks . . .
The chunk is the deal - old school but super subtle.
I just got some chunks! And a good bass in Okeechobee! Thx Mikey.
Go Val! Love the gambler goods dude💥🎣🤠

Randy does the cut of different lengths . Kind of scruffy looking . I think it's a good idea 👍
Mikey great info. Thanks for sharing 🎣 👍

Gotta get gambler to make the magic craw why nots.
Nothing out there will outfish a Luke Clausen Micro jig with a TRD.
U talking spots and smallies?largemouth I'll take a 3/8 dirty jigs, black brown with a black and blue beaver trailer
I always trimmed the top even < No no no < You actually want the top after the trim uneven ! It becomes a ugly jig ! That catches them !
Doesnt putting big ass chunk on a small finesse jig, defeat the purpose of finesse??
