Just Saw your vid, I'm thinking of doing my Macan Calipers also, Great Video BTW! Q: why didn't you clear over the decal?

Thanks for watching! Decal is heat tempered so no need to clear. To this day it's fine👍 I'll end up redoing the calipers again when I upgrade to the Girodisc. So the calipers will be completely disassembled

Just followed the drying time on the instructions

How many cans of paint and clear coat did you end up needing? Also, what grade sand sponge did you use?

I used 2 cans paint and I can clear👌 the sponge had 2 grades, aggressive ans fine

That'll be nice to really get in the places you couldn't get into before with them on the car. Did they hold up as well as you were expecting so far?

One fast ride and the heat will fuck that paint easily, do a proper het resistant powder coating if you want a colour to last
