All of you guys' videos are great, but this one has been particularly useful to me. Keep up the good work, and thanks for posting quality fitness material!
'Frog throw' but walking to collect the 15kg ball (can't run) for 20+ minutes as cardio: opinion as a muscular/cardio all in one? seems nearly full-body Thoughts please!
Would it be better to get a soft medicine ball compared to a hard one. I bought a hard 15 lb. one (the weight caught me off guard 😅😅). I thought 15 lbs would be light, I was sadly mistaken
A soft med ball is better for slams, wall drills and many of the Exercises in this video... hard med balls are better for rebounding with a rebounder (trampoline) and Exercises like med ball push ups, Russian twists other movements where you require a powerful bounce response from the ball.
For those new at this and wanting to purchase one, he’s not using a “medicine ball” it’s called a slam ball. Big difference when you want to be aggressive with a ball.
JUST GOT SLAM BALL LAST NIGHT FOR BDAY. LOVE IT ALREADY JUST THROWING IT UP LAYING IN BED. BUT WAS WONDERING, WHAT MUSCLES DOES IT WORK WHEN YOU SLAM IT!?
NIC SMADA That’s awesome! The med ball slam is really a total body exercise requiring a ton of muscle. You’re trying to achieve triple extension which is ankle knee and hip extension in the upward motion and then coming down forcefully slamming the ball to the ground bending at the hips and knees and the ankles and very quickly picking the ball back up. Be explosive and be fast with this exercise for best results! Chris 😉👍🏻💪🏻
venkanna sainni it certainly depends on the exercise but 10-15 kg is a solid weight range for men working with a Med Ball. 5-10 kg for most women in my experience. Coach Chris
Hi Brian! I've watched several of your videos now and can't seem to figure out what brand of slam ball are you using. Can you share, please? forever grateful.- Keva

Great video!! Can you kindly guide which med ball to buy?
Purchase one that is a weight that challenges you but allows you to perform the exercises properly
If I were to only buy 2 different weights of medicine balls which ones would you recommend?
That depends on you.

i'm a advanced lifter and considering buying a 20kg slam ball primarily for wall and floor slams. Is that a good weight or should I go lower?
Awesome video! I purchased a Gymenist slam ball, can I do all of these same workouts with it like your medicine ball?
Yes, you can!
