In this week's video I set myself a new challenge: Can I make a small mech in ONLY a couple of moths? Can I not overcomplicate things as I always do? This is a new scratchbuild project called the GREEBLIE HUNTER!
Don't forget to subscribe and also follow me on all other social networks @cuttransformglue

What a great idea. Model makers need greeblies. Makes perfect sense for model makers to have a greeblie hunter robot to assist in building up their supply.
My dream shop assistant!
hidden gem channel, just a guy making cool models as a hobby
Fantastic work! I would really enjoy more smaller projects like these inbetween the big mechs!
3:29 is the most satisfying thing I've seen all year. Great video, CTG! Keep up the great work
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
5:50 is absolutely a folding foot used to tilt a keyboard up. I know cuz I've accidentally broken dozens of them, haha
You got it!!
8:15 looks like its part of a military truck!
Ooh that's cool! Never thought of that
This is a lot of fun so far! Great choices in this build.
Thank you!
You are very creative, bro! I loved this concept of robot!
Thanks bro!!
This is a huge mech and it's a great build in progress. Very cool!
Than you!
Greeblie Hunter would be a great name for a channel. Lol 👍❤
Great job as always! Have you considered making a walking vehicle with a pilot? Making a little open cockpit made of greeblies would be cool.
It's a neat idea, and I'll probably try it some day! I work on 1/20 scale so it will have to be a pretty big unit!
i love every detail of this project!!!💥
Those "corner pieces" are called gussets, in case you're interested.
Fun little project 👍
Thanks for the info!
Loving the build!!! ❤😊❤
Thank you!
Beautiful work
Thaaanks :)
@5:50 Keyboard flip out leg, also could be from laptop cooling pad or even a laptop, or similar keypad, etc...
I love your greeblie builds. For walker type models I have the ED209 horizon vinyl, and the hasagowa Camel.
I love this style of machine/ kit.
I would like to scratch build something, but I’m looking for a clear bubble type greeblie for a cabin window as seen with the camel. Do you have any possible ideas for finding clear bubble style “windows”
Cheers.
I thought it was going to be a mech robotic label maker. Using the power of object recognition it goes around the house labelling everything, light, couch, dog......
where would you reccomend looking for bits and pieces, i've been very interested to eventually make something myself, but im still unsure where to start and what to get
focas on innishiating ur imagination bro then ur own compas will bring the matiriel to you :)
@timothydavies5337 yeahh haha, imagination i have, but the tough part is making it into something real. Thanks for the kind comment though!
@@jackdaw3822 any time bro :)
anything in particular that ur planning on making like :)
aye ur right enouph apllication is the key :)
@@jackdaw3822
you never fail to amaze.
Thank you!
Está ficando incrível! Ansioso para ver como vai ser a pintura dele, talvez algo amarelo/industrial?
Valeu!! Eu acho que vou variar a cor (com alguma certa lógica) para indicar que esse robô é feito de partes diferentes encontradas!
Awesome build! But please wear PPE/ respirator bro. Gotta protect yourself so you can make more content for a long time to come! Keep krafting
Please tell me: What kind of glue in in that little squeeze bottle of yours? The one with the blue needle? 01:07
CA glue, or superglue!
Hmmm, a quiestion - how come your acrylic pieces do net develop ugly cracks after you use CA glue on them? It has been my experience, that CA glue virtually destroys any laser-cut acrylic part... ?
Ooh that's odd, never had that problem with acrylic!
Is there some precautions you are taking since you are not wearing a respirator? We want you to live and not suffer from plastic dust exposure. Thank you for the amazing art you make and helping all of us model makers understand how to build more effectively.
Tbh, I should invest in some good respirators when I get the chance! Thanks for the concern and for your words buddy!
I've noticed you seem to gravitate towards very flat main bodies for your robots. Not complaining, but it would be interesting to see more variety.
drink everytime he says "CA glue"
man i love watching your builds but it always makes me so nervous seeing you sanding, gluing, puttying with no respiratory protection. really hope you got a good filtration set up going.
what made you decide to go for a 90 bend on the insinerator elbow as a pose to ball joint like :)
Just cause I had that antenna piece ready to go!
THe mystery shape from 05:50 is, I believe, a keyboard leg.
You got it!
@@CutTransformGlue Woo! A winner is me, thanks for the like! Love your work, man, been following for years. I think the vid that introduced your channel to me was the mini disc sander you built! Keep on building bots!
Is the black part from a tupperware box?? Amazing work as always, dude!
Nope, but good guess! It's the folding foot from a keyboard :D
Awesome build! What brand is that disc sander?
Thank you! Made it myself, there's a video here on the channel of that project
Good things come in small Mechs... LOL
Haha yeah!
Are you going to finish the recon unit? Just wondering
I will, for sure!
Stupid question. If most of it is just 3D printed, why not just do all the modelling in 3D, print the entire thing and then paint it?
I really don't feel most of it is 3d printed, there was a ton of acrylic work done of camera, see the waist for instance. The arm is also full of greeblies. But the idea of fully 3D printing a robot is not that far off, I would totally do it!
Giant mechs are missile magnets. Just saying.
2/3rd of the thing is made from very very precisely printed parts, quite far from the "cut transform" thing
