Great video! I am going to do this 12tc cable. One thing I discovered is that you can "fine-tune" your system a little with different cabels. Naim Nac5 was a good allrounder for me, a little bright perhaps but good for my tube amps. It was rather cheap when I bought years ago, not sure how it is now.
Thanks a lot! Now I tried this cables and they were really fantastic as you said. For resonable amount of money too. So far only tested on a pair of ProAc Respons S,. Soundstage became greater and also clarity was better, in general more balanced than what I was used to. Naim cables, Linn cables and some silver-plated one I forgot the name. Happy!
Got it from amazon :) link below www.amazon.ca/Soldering-Helping-Workshop-Non-Slip-Weighted/dp/B07C577S21?pd_rd_w=FGUuP&pf_rd_p=3af90b35-7b72-4adc-92b5-1bc11b79fa3b&pf_rd_r=GZCHX5J4Y0584DHFQS0G&pd_rd_r=aa0d45ea-e3ae-4248-99d1-517c99913209&pd_rd_wg=m9fdJ&pd_rd_i=B07C577S21&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_rp_1_i
I can actually hear (and feel) the difference between OFC and OCC. Especially in the midbass 70hz region in my car audio installs. There is that "warmth" that you hear about but never experience. True some of the claims are crazy about cables but when you buy and use high end electronics you do not want to connect everything with $20 worth of wire. LOL. It would be like trying to put down 500hp at the drag strip with 4, 15in $50 tires.....haha.
I really doubt you can hear the difference between OCF cables and OCC over such small distances. Maybe capacitance differences. But again these distances are negligible.
who cares how they look. No termination will always give the best, clearest, most musical sound. Chunks of metal and solder joints will always lower sound Q. I actually prefer direct from the amp board to the driver wire, no plugs or binding posts at all, direct solder point to point

Glad I could help!
Very informative. Well done.
Fantastic content. Thank you.
@gabster this is awesome, thanks! can you make one for power cables?
will do :)
Very informative. What Shrink tubing sizes should I look for for the 12tc method? Is bi-wiring my speakers worth it?
I usually get the assorted ones or just measure your wire and get one a bit bigger you can also get thicker ones they look better
Great educational video, can you please send me link were you bought the wire holder with the yellow base? thanks

@@Gabster1 Thanks
Could u please guide me on what to do I have some flat cables sounding awesome but am not able to find how to terminate them 😢
What diameter is the pet expandable sleeve?
Where can you get the pins to buy
Can the 24-wire cable be used for a 3-pole power cable? thanks
It is not designed or safe for high voltage use
I would stick to shielded cables
Hi kimber cable or nordost ?
Neither, this is fake Kimber Kable and should not be referred to as 12TC.
Just buy the best cable you can, and hard wire it directly to your binding posts. Simple.
You got the idea 💡
What about Silver in cables?
no.
Where can you get this to buy
Links are in the description

No, you actually can't XD

“that ‘warmth’ you hear about but never experience”
Car Audio Dude really said that
L would have understood that cables make no difference.

Pffftttt.. absolute garbage. I prefer having the orchestra on standby.
In my basement.
“most musical sound,” he really said 😂
and really meant it too.
