The yellow lines are a kind of like a form of street braille for the blind and/or those with diminished eye sight!
so neat, thanks for sharing!
Looks so much fun me and my oldest friend are going for the first time at the end of may ive wanted to go since i was a child
excited for you - y’all are going to have a blast!
Going there in under two months!
so excited for you!
The yellow lines are from your shutter speed in the camera; it's called banding. Keep your shutter speed at 1/50 or 1/60 to get rid of it + it gives you a more cinematic look! It will also get rid of flickering lights in actions cams and phones etc...
wow thanks for the explanation! super helpful!!
makes me want to go to japan!
the trip looked awesome! how many days would you recommend at each city?
thank you!! honestly 2-3 days Kyoto, 1-2 days Osaka, & 5-6 days in Tokyo feels enough for your first time
@5:34 i know u filled those with mochi flavored protein powder
$6 ramen. My goodness. Japan is incredibly cheap, esp with the exchange rate huh.
so affordable & delicious, i truly miss this
And no tip, ridiculous tax😊
Do you guys speak Japanese? how hard is it to deal with the language barrier if not?
@@DraZtheProbleM none of us spoke Japanese! wasn’t an issue for us; we used Google translate when we needed to communicate w/ locals. also downloaded this common phrase book which helped me speak a little: www.scribd.com/document/712349978/Boutique-Japan-Tiny-Phrasebook
@@themaxmao Nice! So did you speak into Google Translate and then let the person hear the translation? Or did you speak it? I don't know if it's considered rude over there so I wanna be polite lol
@@DraZtheProbleM we mainly just typed out questions we had and showed the translated text to locals for help!
You really experienced quite a lot in your short time there. After visiting Nihon so many times, I recently decided to spend an entire month with CX Kyoto as my base… it was unreal to just take leisurely walks and revisit some temples 3-4 times to photograph different angles. Hope you are able to go back often. Incredible job on your editing. 🤩
truly enjoyed how peaceful kyoto was - hoping ill be able to visit again. thanks Bryan!
Great video. I can’t wait to visit. I’m torturing myself watching endless travel vlogs, knowing I won’t be there for another year 🥹. But on a positive note, it gives me plenty of time to save up
you're going to have a blast! time will fly by before you know it
@@themaxmao you’re so right. I’m just an impatient person haha . Thank you!
Hi..been to JPN several times and the last time was Nov 2019..first time to hear that custom made Japnese ring..may I know where..ans how much thank you
the shop was called Gram! took around 30 min to make from scratch - prices depend on the material of the ring
Great video !
I have a question if I had 10-14 days first time in Japan would you recommend to add another destination to those 3 places or maybe spend additional day in each place ? Realistically how many days do we need to experience Tokyo well
there's so much to do in each city! 2 weeks is a great length to really get to explore Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka (i personally wished I had more time in Tokyo & Kyoto)
Thank you , for your vlog. Enjoy watching it cause I’m going to Japan this April 2024 .
you’re going to have a great time
Hi Max, im planning to spend my Christmas and New year in Japan this year (2024). i heard there are snow going on? i've never seen some in your video. i have the same itinerary will stay Tokyo for a night then go straight to Kyoto and Osaka and will go back to Tokyo. I'll be spending 11 days. any tips?
@@mlbb011594 hi mark! so excited for you and your upcoming trip. last year i personally did not see much snow in any of the cities during my trip. would highly recommend spending more time in Kyoto, the calmness and culture was so nice. please update me on how your trip goes!
Amazing video. You captured a lot tourist attractions. Thank you for sharing.👌🙏
thank you! can’t wait to revisit
Incredible trip Max!! good eats
おいしい!!
oishi oishi!
thoughts and prayers for those affected by the earthquake ❤
Awesome video Max! I'm going possibly in April / May, how many days do you recommend to stay in Tokyo? I'm wanting to explore Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara as well.
that’s so exciting! 6-7 days in Tokyo, 2-3 days in Kyoto, and 1-2 days in Osaka is good to see all the major sights for a first time trip!
@@themaxmao oh ok cool, thanks for the reply. If you don’t mind me asking, how much should I expect to pay for two weeks in Japan excluding tickets and accommodation?
@@elated_h depends on the type of experiences you're looking to get (definitely ways to do it budget friendly & also going all out). biggest costs were the flight + hotels (as expected)
was traveling there expensive?
depends on if you live near a major airport hub! i unfortunately did not, but totally worth the trip!!
Very high quality video!! Thank you for sharing 😍
thank you!!
love ur vlogs keep up with the great work 🙃
thank you irina!!
missing japan alrdy 😢
same!!
I love that you kept the natural raw sounds of the people and the environment without any music. Made the video very peaceful and soothing to watch. Keep it up max!
thank you Thieu!!
Hi, how much for the ring?
depends on the material - mine was around $70 USD
I stumbled upon your amazing channel because of this vlog. Although your vlog is 40 minutes long, I finished watching your video because it is so informative and you are very engaging. Thank you for sharing your trip.
thanks so much sara
woahhh i cant believe they have actual deer at the park that you can go up to
The yellow bumpy lines show where to safely walk. When you feel the “bumps” under foot you should be aware of something like a driveway, etc.
thanks for sharing!
Max with the pass trail or bus pass youve purchased how much was that and thats really big help ???thanks bro
7 day JR pass (unlimited uses) was ~$240 USD. it's worth it if you're visiting multiple cities in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, etc.)
Noticed one of the deer videos got edited out👀
Great stuff man!! hahah good seeing ur face after all these years. looks like you're living it up
great to hear from you man!!
Also idk if I believe you about that smoked chicken in the plastic
lol i was honestly shocked it was juicy
Matsuya is the best! ✨i love their burger steak meal combo
i need to try that combo next time!
Korea is also nice :) We welcome you.
thank you! cant wait to visit Korea
