Mr Martirano's exact expression at 7.22 is my full time face of bewilderment and wonderment of the world we see today. Ole sausage fingers is on top form here.I think he's maturing to a peak. The NL4 (like Chris) is truly fabulous.

What can you say, this is the best virtual analog synth there is out there. No one is even close to this. Great vid as usual, Chris!

Would have really like to hear more wavetables and tines and that form of synthesis I can’t seem to find it examples anywhere.

Sounds magnificent! I'm going to buy such one. Only one question: can you save your own preset and then use it later just pushing a button even after turning off/turning on the device?

I have a real problem choosing between Nord Lead 4 and Nord Lead A1. I like the demo's of the A1 a lot more, but I don't know if the Nord Lead 4 demo's do it justice.

Robbinsffxi The demos were based purely on slightly modified internal factory patches. Had I the time to make custom patches, the instrument is far more capable! Don't let these demos persuade you. I was mostly showing features as requested by the manufacturer. Thanks for your comments!

Less capable, sure. But the Lead A1 having a better overall sound is pretty much a common sentiment.

Did you decide on one? I had the lead 4, sold it a while ago, now have the a1 and really miss the lead 4. going to sell it and get the 4.
The shortcuts on the a1 for me are too limited, and even though the a1 sounds slightly more analog at times, it’s not working for what i need as from my view both really are very good virtual synth engines and are not that close to analog . I have plenty of analog gear .....I like to keep a variety of digital, virtual, and analog to have the best of all worlds.

This keyboard doesn't have a pitch bend?

Vikram Subramanaiam It has the same wooden pitch stick as all the Nord synths.

I thought the ladder was modeleled after the minimoog

      It's true. :)

Ward de jager Yes you are correct, that was my mistake as they also provide a TB filter modeled after the TB303. The Ladder was modeled after the Minimoog. Great catch!! Thanks!
