I have an in progress, (stopped due to a costly divorce) custom build project 1955 Chevy, big window truck that has been in my family for nearly 50 years. I am willing to part with it for a completed car or truck. I have 30k into it. I will not give it away, but will trade equal cost for value for a completed car or truck. It has chrome grill and bumpers with the wood bed. New custom frame 2x6 tubing, new high performance 425 horse 454 Chevy create motor, turbo 400 auto trans, new aluminum fuel cell, new radiator, new heidts suspension, new serpentine belt system, aluminum intake, new custom wheels and tires, headers, 4 barrel carburetor. It needs interior and body, paint and glass. Body is straight with some minor rust spots in the usual places but overall great shape. It just collecting dust and taking up room in my garage. It pains me to let it go but I am nearly 60 years old and am starting over financially so I don't see me ever getting it finished. I have two young daughters, but don't see any interest from them in my family truck. Reply to my comment if interested. Thanks

Love these cars. I def one day want to get a vehicle from these guys. I would have to make it a vacation type deal and travel and stay a week or two in the state and check their lot often for newest arrivals. They seem to want to sell faster than arrive lol. Gotta save money first. Don't got good credit so that's out, but one day :)
You can't take trip on plane or book hotel without credit card. So not going to happen

Shift linkage in probably hitting the header collector. Keeping it from going into 2nd and low manually.

We had one of these, really nice car, but ours had a straight 6 in it , ran forever it seemed like, anyway love these video's of old cars and trucks makes me remember the good old days .

@@wileecoyote5749 My first car was a 69 ss got it in 1977 for 750.00 to many things on this car tells me it's a clone he said the numbers are on the bach of the motor not they are on the front it would make a nice car but needs a lot of work

Need to check the numbers on this car a lot of things say not a real SS this car should have a 400 turbo trans not the right hood needs a lot of work for a $30,000.00 car the factory A/c is gone

I think your pricing is on the mark. The 72 Chevelle the other day was a little rougher than this and I think the 69 is a more desirable year. You couldn't find an old chevelle and get it to this condition for anything near as low as 30k. Great car! Love what you go through to show us everything...I appreciate the videos and hope to grab one of these someday if the right one comes along.

At 8:55 the drivers side exhaust is very close on the driveshaft. I don't think it's touching as I don't see and shiny spots on the driveshaft. Car sounds awesome nothing like a BB

I LIKE IT. I use to own a 69 Chevelle it was Metallic Gold though. I had a 300 HP 350 engine.
Sounds like somthing wants out of that engine.

It’s loaded with options to be a SS but that dash cluster is incorrect! They had a rpm gauge that had different red lines depending on HP! Plus around the rpm gauge was the oil, temp, and voltage gauge that was all circling the rpm. The 69 chevelles was one year that was hard to identify if it’s a SS! But just a few cosmetic things on this ride and it would be perfect IMO!!!
Love the year. Paint& Body work not Great. Interior needs a lot of work. Nice Driver not for Showing. Wished I could afford one. Maybe someday. I get my fix through your videos. Thanks!
drove my dad's '69 Chevelle from DC to Raleigh to college (NC State).....in '69.....didn't sound like this one.....350 maybe 305......drove good on hwy......i want one ....with 396
