I love how thorough you guys are. That level of honesty and openness and how you check every freaking thing on the car is very respectable.
That Roadrunner is too much fun! Awesome performance & looks. That's what the good old days were all about.
I think the roadrunners are dam good looking muscle cars
Hey, no argument there 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for finally putting your foot into it more than once! We want to see what these cars have. Especially us older folks that grew up with and wanting them.
Very nice car. 440 with dual quads. 4 speed, has a scatter shield on it. If you caught it, it has a Dana 60 rear end.
The sound when you rev the engine gave me goosebumps...man she is calling me......what a beauty...love it
Gotta love Mopar. He chirped the tires in all 4 gears!!
is it a 6 pack lift up hoods were usually 6 packs nice old roadrunner my ver first car was a 383 4 barrel 4 speed 69 gun metal grey track bats and l60 rear bias ply tires
track bars effing typos
@@49inxs If you go to the far right side and click on the 3 dots it brings up a menu to edit your post. Didn't know if you knew that. My kids showed me, lol!!!
@@stillnotwoke the 440 6 pack had the VIN code M. This car is a VIN code H which would have been the Roadrunner 383 more commonly called the 383 Magnum. This is a very well done car with a super hot 440 in it, but it isn't an original A12 440 6 pack car.
I can tell you really liked this car. You drove it little longer than usually do. That is a sahweet car.
Notice Chrysler only put the Pentastar on the right fender.
This RR is really clean underneath…. Someone took care of this car, bet that. Sounds great as well… Awesome!!
That's a nice F'in Ride,,Love the sound of those flow masters & nice rims..I had a "69" GTX with 440 ... i loved that car
I had a good friend back in highschool that owned a 69 GTX and that car was a skirt grabber hahahaha I loved it when he took me out looking
I want to go back two years ago and buy that Roadrunner for under 40k!
Glad to see them MOPARS!!!! That 440 sounding💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
What a great looking car…and really decent price to boot.
I enjoy every ride in every car.But this one was fun and quick...You we're pleased with it also..."rip rip"!!!It was like a good date...
Yes this maple motors is my favorite channel, real honest n they sell cars we can afford
You knew this one would not be sitting on your lot for long ...very very nice Roadrunner
Nothing but muscle live this car thanks u bright me back some 50 years
Alot of upgrades under that car for sure...looks like you had some fun in that thing Nick. Someone will be a lucky RR owner soon.
That steering problem is an easy fix. The didnt center the steering box when they connected the steering arm. Its done by counting the wheel turns and then dividing the turns equally to know where center is.
A good looking mopar Nick !! Great catch !!😎🇺🇸👍🏻🦅
My 1st and 2nd cars were a 68 GTX and a 69 Roadrunner. I wish I still had them. Had a lot of fun in both of them.
yeah I am sure of that and you were lucky to own both of those great cars........my first car was a 55 Chevy even though it was a four door I love that car
Love the roadrunners. I believe the pistol grip wasn't available until 70
You're absolutely correct, there's a lot of incorrect issues with this car, in but in 2021 it's pretty hard to find one that hasn't been fornicated in some manner, that is not under 40k.
Sweet Car !
Perfect beautiful amazing looking car beautiful colour thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
Great sounding classic Mopar muscle car!!
Muscle cars are so fun to drive and has so power
I bought a brand new ‘68 Roadrunner when I got home from Vietnam; loved that MoPar. Mine was a 383 4spd with hooker headers and 4:10 gears. Ran low 14’s. The Hemi RR’s would run high 12’s to low 13’s. The 426 Hemi option was $712. My car cost $2900. Would love to have another one before I die of agent orange.
Ii always wanted a Roadrunner, never did get one in uk back in the 70,s.But did manage to find a 70 Barracuda 383 which was a fine car !
I am sorry that I missed vid, but the best of the best seems to pass by for this car and you always do a great job at what you do best. Love you young man, Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.
Thank you very much
Damn, man. My dream car, to the tee.
Color, hood, wheels.
Just got to find where my old lady put the check book.......
Me and my son's love all your cars but we're looking for something we can spend quality time in restoring together so I can teach them on fixing there on muscle cars I hope I get a notification the next time you have some like you did 10 grand and under. Great channel love watching great beautiful cars thanks
This is. A proper Roadrunner, nice muscle car for somebody to enjoy !😊
This is some super effective video production. Wildly entertaining.
Glad you think so!
That looks great and sounds awesome 😎
Very nice car .love it had one many years ago. Sold fast I bet .
God, I'm sooo depressed now.......that thing is beautiful..... I loved seeing the whole car flex when you stepped on the gas
Mopar my dad had a orange 1968 Road runner,383 stock, automatic transmission, that car would fly😁
I saw the Dana Rear,,,,,, Is that a Hemi Trans? If so,,,, perfect 440 six-pack, Hemi Trans, Dana Rear!!!
It don't get no better!! 🤩🤩🤩
it wasnt a 6 pack it had 2 4barrels
@@michaellyons9640 My bad! I read six pack! But I was always a advocate for a eight-pack!! 🤩
More bang for the buck!! 🐎💪👈
😏😉😄
That hood up looks awesome 👌 👏
9:44 that's my great-grandmother on the left, she doesn't like being constrained to a single lane.
You got to love them old cars
Wow beautiful ride you should keep this one I would like a ride in that just once lol
Way to go Nick I love that car 😍😍😍
Nice ride man....68-70 muscle with 3 -pedals makes it even better....you can Hen pic ANY old car to death and that is where you are honest.......even them High Dollar Barrett cars are not perfect...even when any make or model was 50 year ago,but people love to pick at the small stuff on them.Great to see ANY muscle car still going after all them cars went through back in the day...its a wonder theres any left Period!!!
love the old school wheels
These are nice hot rods you still get these nice 5.0 mustangs
That whip is incredible
That is one sweet ride!
What a BEAST!!
Nick just wondering if you realize your audio seems to go from stereo to mono during your test rides. In this video, it happened at 4:30. Great videos otherwise. Thanks for the ride!
I LOVE MAPLE MOTORS!
Beautiful car. That thing really rips.Third gear is a little noisy. I know it’s sold.
Love that road runner.
I think Nick liked driving that one !
He sure acts happier in this than he does in any camaro or chevelle test drive!! He knows he wants to be a Mopar Man but doesn’t want to disappoint dad or grandpa cause they always said to drive a Chevy, lol
Sweet ride
Beautiful car!
Beatiful ROADRUNNER.
Like the runner that’s my kind of car.
No horn and very little electrical definitely a mechanics special , about the same condition of mine in high school but at least my horn worked with the right sound . Yes my car had that good of a body .
That was my first car while i was in High School.. Except mine had a black vinyl top and bucket seats and Automatic. But everything else including color was the same... Yes i wish i still had it...😭
Wish I had seen this when it was for sale. Would have scooped it
Also should add i love this car lol. Wallet just ain't there quite yet but won't be too long
Beautiful overall great power an price excellent year Runs an sounds as good as it looks ,plus go’s up in value 👍sales itself 💦🐟
That is a darn nice car!
it is missing the original road runner horn beep beep
No it wasn't. He honked the horn in the video and you could see the purple Roadrunner horn in the engine bay.
@@1967davethewave it did not sound right...
@@kheaslett Maybe it was the recording but the horn is either an original or a correct replacement. I own a 68 Roadrunner with an original horn and it sounded about the same to me.
Man id love to have that car! Just needs some minor wrenching it seems, damn! I want it lol
Wow you all are getting some of the best car's, love them old Mopar, beautiful ride 👍
I always wanted see how felt drive car with that kind pistol grip shifter
If i bought that i would definitely get a horn that sounded like the roadrunner from the cartoons, thst one kinda did lol
Freaking amazing car, and iam a Pontiac man, but something about that runner!!
4:31 Nick goes beep beep beep down the street clean 69 Roadrunner I'll take one those or a Chrysler 300 from same era over any new Mopar that's out now.
The Sweet Sound of American 😎
That's my dream car right there, ever since I was a teen...unfortunately I don't have 40 k...are their any genie's granting wishes out there.
Nice roadrunner, who the hell put in that headliner wow
Same color blue as my 69. Nice car except for front buckets, they are hideous but easily changeable when you can find an original set
I agree about the seats !
Awesome 69 road runner
What ! Dang .... sweet .
It’s perfect
Road Runner chirping!
Beast!!
Nice
Can hear cam lope. What else has been done to motor. Great example-Hot Rod !!!
Nice!!
Wow. 40k for something that looks and sounds like this and has a dana? Wish I knew about this before it sold.
Sweet!
I'm Interested in This Machine, Maple Motors, I'm Calling, From Orlando FL.
if it winds out at 65 mph how do you win races? i believe you need to go faster than that to win.
Ofcourse it will, you have never owned a car like this,it will do 65 in second gear !
I think this horn will work.
This car sounds so much better than the 68 w the camper motor now thats a Mopar ,oh yra I love this one, don't care bout little problems that's a real 440,sounds different like night n day from other hw showed,I'd pass on first one n buy this beast
Missing is the Mep mep horn . Lol
Mopar at Ole' Maple Motors!
I think the horn works on this ☝️
I could’ve bought a 69 roadrunner in 1978 with a 383 for $1,500.00 Damn!
That’s a bad ass car
Dammit mann" your killing me" roast pavement
Sweet car its not going to last long. She going to a good home.
If anyone knows… did Plymouth make a Hemi GTX I’m thinking around 1969 or somewhere around the late 60’s? I wonder if they built the GTX body style after the roadrunners body style or vice versa? Thanks for a knowledgeable reply!
The first year for the GTX was in '67 as a performance package on the Belvedere, it became it's own model from '68 to '71 with the standard engine being a 440 super commando , and the option being a 426 hemi, from '68 to '70 the body came in different variations starting with the Belvedere, satellite, sport satellite, roadrunner and GTX, '71 was the last year for the GTX as a stand alone model, from '72 to '74 ,if you ordered a roadrunner with the 440 engine it became a roadrunner (GTX) 👍
The best
That dual quads not a six pack correct?
Not original motor too? I would have to get a RR steering wheel with horn too. What size is that rear end?
