I think the judgment of becoming a fallen angel or not depends on motivation. Andoain believes that non-sankta races should also be able to enjoy the protection of the law because of their beliefs, just like sankta, but in the story we learn that the law is a machine that cannot be given to non-sankta races, but law agrees with andoain to explore other ways of coexistence with sankta and non-sankta races. On other hand, law thinks that Mostima shot for personal reasons (protection, revenge, etc.), which is not helpful for the continuation of civilization, so disconnected, resulting in becoming a fallen angel
I just simply hope that the Lateran government or Rhodes Island will give her closure at some point after all the shit she's been through. Honestly she needs some love and I kinda think that being a fallen doesn't really matter because she's still the same prior to her being at her current state.
Does she really need closure tho? To her she's moved on from the past and doesn't seem that bothered by her current state of life. Both her and Lemuen and "forgave" Andoain for what happened based on what they felt through their Empathy and both refuse to actually elaborate on it, probably because the reason is something difficult to describe in words.
Now that I think about it. Maybe the 'lock and key' somehow reverse time and a sankta is originally a sarkaz. For Mostima, her change to sarkaz is sort of accelerated due to the 'lock and key, while those who break the law change slowly to fallen but never exposed the sarkaz horns or tails as those might already got erased or something.
Some facts from event (by the way, this event is paradise for some gags about Laterano and Sanktas): > Lemuen said, that she is working with RI already, and Fia will work with us too, they not just contacted us. > There is no cross-breeding between Sankta and other races. Offspring of Sankta+X always appears as X. So Law is actually don't like when you mixing blood. > Sankta funerals are often accompanied by laughter, music, sweets abd the occasional, incinsequential explosions. > They actually have special document to fill when they want to do some explosions in city and this is pretty normal thing to do (don't need important reason, just your heart want some KABOOM). > They making shooting competitions between whellchaired patients in hospitals (Lemuen won it btw).
I understood that the "lock and key" are probably what caused Andoain to go mad after he picked them up, I think the reason he didn't fall was because it wasn't him at all but Fiammetta doesn't understand it/can't accept it
@@TerryBradstreet Anyone remember at which point did he say this to Fiammetta? If it's after him meeting the pope, I think it could be intentional, in order to provoke and agitate Fiammetta. Qaiser you're an absolute CHAD for making these Lore videos, I just get more and more into Arknights and you're one of the reasons why. Keep up the good work!
As a Mostima enjoyer as well as she is literally THE Operator that made me started playing Arknights, everything unfolded in this event meant a world to me. Allow me to drop the madman's unorganized speculations here: - During some conversation between Mostima and Fiammetta, not sure when or was it when they're with Lemuen; they mentioned about Andoain's mentality is being kinda wacky swingy at the time -- which I think it portrayed within Guiding Ahead event story quite clearly that he keeps letting his ideals getting in the way of decision making (when Cecelia questioning things or when Enforcer expresses his doubt on him) - "points the gun to your own kind and you fall" might be just as literally, I really wish to access Arknights JP as that's the other language that is closer to CN I can understand but assuming there's no lost-in-translation kinda of perception in this context; it means that you as a Sankta cannot use your gun at the other Sankta regardless the reasons being it a jest, self-defense, threatening, showing gesture and whatnot -- meaning it is not necessary for the shot to be made or landed, the moment your Sankta-coded instinct breaks, you're fallen - if the assumption above proved to be true, then why the Pope and Andoain didn't fall? I find it interesting that both of them have similar halo pattern -- we see in some E2 art and the chibi sprite effect during some skin activations that the Sankta halo changes, is it "natural" thing for them or it happens from channeling their power with The Law? Does that mean they are aware of this Sankta collective unconsciousness thingy? Well the Pope showed the PHYSICAL or at least perceivable form of The Law to Andoain and that horrified him - if The Law itself has some sort of A.I. patterns, it's probably been analyzing every single Sankta constantly and somehow Andoain's motive and ideal is considered somewhat similar to the Pope -- "For the greater good" -- not to mention the other Sankta and Mostima herself kinda implied the "ridiculous" case like her and Cecelia might be "taken care of" directly by the Pope and just considered disappeared to other people in order to "maintain the peace" - After the revelation from the Pope, Andoain probably gave up on changing Laterano since the Pope already showed that he did also want to change meanwhile Andoain himself knows more about the world outside Laterano, hence why he's just leaving Laterano after tagging along with Fiammetta for a bit........... would it still be "for the greater good"? who knows, not sure he picked up the gun after Lemuen shot it out from his hand before running away tho - back to Mostima and her "special" falling, here we still have Executor and Enforcer which the former is outright a fallen with some restraint meanwhile the latter seems to slowly fall out of his Sankta-coded instinct; Executor seems to have his own will and motive as he continues working for Notarial Halls and other things is just "works to be done" for him. He will point the gun if he has to. - As for Enforcer, he wanted to live a peaceful life undisturbed but because his kindred and considered heart comes across with Cecelia and to hear the story of Sarkaz in a perspective he never did before, he started to doubt. - There is also something worth mentioning about Enforcer who hasn't falling too far unlike Executor did not sense anything from Cecilia who is confirmed to have a direct Sarkaz blood - Meanwhile Mostima, she also shares some similarity with those two -- she acts and follows her own beliefs -- especially during the discovery of the Lock and the Key. While it is clear the Twin Staff is kinda haunted and might even called out to Andoain, but it is unknown if one of the Sankta already directly touched and picked up the Staff - which Andoain may did so and his somewhat loud-than-usual thoughts alerted Lemuen and Mostima and perhaps also thanks to the Empathy, if the Entity inside the Staff talked into Andoain's mind, Lemuen and Mostima might sense it as well and find it fishy and dangerous to let Andoain make a pact with it -- two of them made a move, so did Andoain try to stop the most skillful one first but Mostima got him. I kinda pictured it that Mostima probably lunges to Andoain to snatch the Lock and the Key away meanwhile Lemuen is taking an aim. - if what I imagined is the case then it is possible that the act Mostima was strongly expressed that Andoain isn't worthy or suitable to keep the Lock and the Key somehow impressed the Entity as she shot Andoain, perhaps that exact moment intertwined with the regular Sankta falling; she grew horns and tail, her halo and wings got dimmed. - There's some speculated that if Andoain did indeed touch the Twin Staff, what if he was possessed? Because you would be thinking every Sankta's first reaction for self-defense would be pulling a gun unless the opponent is also Sankta right? This part is still a mystery - AND this is a very wild and baseless speculation but since The Law could be just some sort of nanomachines or similar shit to what revealed at the end of Chapter 8 and made Sankta a Sankta for the entire bloodline as long as the formula is met, then what is an alive Sankta without racial features? This goes same for the Sarkaz as well but I'm not quite unsure about the Origin of Sarkaz, I need a reminder -- but.... what if Sankta without halo and wings used to be Sarkaz? (that was opposed with the other Sarkaz long time ago, gods I'm actually still on chapter 6 literally just returned because this event, Theresis be damned) There is also the case with Outcast (very cool Sankta grandma) but somewhat I think Qaiser is gonna bringing up in next video
This whole thing with Sankta being bound by a Law that determines if they can or cant be a Sankta just reminds me of Psycho-Pass that I just recently finished watching
My personal theory is that the Sarkaz were in fact Sanktas that fallen and the children of those ended up being the actual sarkaz. The hate each other because they became exiled and didn't have any second chance, that original reason was lost in time. That's why Cecelia exists. Another thing that makes me believe this it's The Lord Of Fiends Power, a sole Halo able to not just empathise but even "control" the sarkaz.
Mostima is just cool nothing is more badass than using a blunderbuss. Getting heavy SMT vibes from this Sankta and Sarkaz with the "Law" potentially being a machine it fits right in honestly.
Great content my guy. You forgot to talk about the concept of Patron Firearms, that all sankta get at the age of adulthood i think? It was implied that Cecilia wasn't old enough to get one so she got her mothers as a keepsake. It is important that Mostima didn't lose the right to use A firearm, it's been said that her Patron Firearm, which i think we don't know what gun it was, now rejects her. It's important cos the Patron Firearms are way stronger than normal ones it seems like they're directly connected to their arts, Jessica isn't and will never be a beast with a gun like Exu or Outcast. Executor still uses guns, just normal ones it seems, and in his skills he just pulls out a second shotgun to double his damage, not like exu who just shoots 4x the bullets.
In Mostima's Token, it says "It's her blunderbuss. She doesn't need it anymore.", but I don't know if the blunderbuss is her Patron Firearm since Sankta can use more than one weapon, but, oh well..
@@pikusek2550 Bet she can't channel her arts over that blunderbuss of hers any longer, I can imagine if Mostima got her Alter form, she'll have a Raythean-produced gun that looks like her former gun.
some random theory: since iirc sarkaz are not fully physical(and therefore more subject to change) and tend to be better at the whole arts thing and all, maybe sankta are an offshoot of them that are "changed" by the law into what they are now and whenever a sankta does something that they themselves think breaks the law they start changing back.(as in the law is subjectively enforced based on whether the sankta themselves believe they broke it)
Maybe. Perhaps. Mostima's Sarkaz features has some similar case to what happen with Ifrit who is originally a Savra but now has Sarkaz features. At least according to the Rhodes Island's Record of Originium - Rhine Lab
Mostima in my eyes before reading exusiai doujin: Pretty chill girl Mostima in my eyes after reading exusiai doujin: .... go and read it yourself(it pretty wholesome tho)
This is my head canon as well. For whatever reason blue food coloring stains more than most other colors. Mostima is known to eat a lot of wacky stuff, and Sankta in general like sweets. My guess is some of her favorite snacks are blue, leading her to often have a blue tongue.
Yeah, the fact that Andoain and Pope didn’t fall when they aimed at each other confuses me as heck. Maybe the reason for it is a feeling of guilt or the different interpretation of law - Andoain himself said something about that interpretation is what actually important
I could totally be wrong but I had the impression that becoming a fallen angel and that whole situation was partly mental. As in the belief in the law makes the law a reality or the belief that you are a sankta also effects it.
"A race based on demons." >shows one of the most brutal, murderous Sarkaz individuals to show up in the story...and also some random Sarkaz mercenary guys
Mostima is a demon. She decided to sabotage my Fiametta pulls and got into the bag. Where is my Fiametta, Mostima? WHERE!? I don't hate you, but this is too much!
I think Andoain didn't become Fallen not because he used his Art on Lemuel and not his gun, but because he was born in a village in Iberie and wasn't tied to the "Law". Pop kind of mentioned during their skirmish like "So you didn't get fallen"
Uh...I don't know if I misunderstood something, but I though Andoain went mad (possibly from whatever is in the lock) and was not in control of his own actions went he put Lemuen in a Coma? That's why Mostima fell while Andoain did not? As for the exchange with the Pope, I am not sure of if they actually hit each other. On matters I am a bit more certain on, I think the event implied that all four Andoain included were very close to one another. This in combination with the Sankta empathy probably contributed to why Lemuen and Mostima don't seem to even resent him, while Fiammetta is hellbent on revenge.
I have a sligtly different view... When the Pope learn about Cecelia, he and Mostima talk about one similar case of mixed blood Sankta, I assume they're talking about Mostima herself. Federico is a Sankta who fall since he had to point a gun agains another Sankta, and for that his halo is black. I Assume that black halo and wings was the normal features of a fallen angel. Mostima was different, since she wasn't pureblood Santka, thats why she grow horns and tail and all. Now I don't know if her blood was mixed by birth or it was Lock & Key doing. Now about how Andoain hasn't fallen when he put Lemuen its because he uses his arts to do so. Oren says "Sankta can't point our guns at our own kind, but violence comes in other forms." when he fights Ezell.
You're the reason I know that Deji is fighting Mayweather. When you said it, I thought it was just an end-of-video joke, but I looked it up and sure enough...
So far we met Lung deities, Ursus deity, Kjerag deity, Caerula (sea deity), unknown deity from the first scene of the game, and now it's Sankta-Sarkaz deity (?) At this point, it is possible if originium is actually a by product of some deities unleashed their power in the past Or maybe the doctor is a deity himself
The doctor could be 3 things : A ) a deity similar to the lung or the kjerag deity, B) one of the "ancient" races, perhaps his race got wiped out with the spread of oripathy (its stated in the lore ancient races are significantly more vulnerable to rock cancer), C) An alien, or some other organism that dose not originate from terra. I personally believe that B is the most likely, but A would be a cool twist/reveal, either way we wont know for sure until we get some other event like vigilo to give us more doctor lore.
Wow, I went back and just noticed the "giant eye" in the background of the first scene. thanks. Also I feel like we still haven`t met that being again (but will mayby somewhere towards the end of Arknights or when the Doctors past will finally get revealed)

Yup. Really, the closure thingy should be more for Fiammetta, who is still stuck in the past tragedy and it's hellbent on getting vengeance on Andoain
@@granmastersword exactly. Mostima already found closure, but fiametta is still wracked with guilt
I watch your videos while eating and when you said Exusiai is "the one from the doujins" i choked on my rice
Tbh, Mostima has a very beautiful design, also Laterano girls have the ability of completely hiding their bust with no compromise.
Amazing vid. I love Mostimas lore, but what blew me away the most was that there is a tile on the bottom left at 15:59 - holy s...ankta
I'd love it if you made a video just pronouncing the weirder names in AK. Your Lemuen and Andoain pronunciations are incredible.
Nice
Some facts from event (by the way, this event is paradise for some gags about Laterano and Sanktas):
> Lemuen said, that she is working with RI already, and Fia will work with us too, they not just contacted us.
I love Moistima's voice, she sounds so chill.
oh my god your username and pfp are godlike.
Also Mostima is 100% best girl imo
I understood that the "lock and key" are probably what caused Andoain to go mad after he picked them up, I think the reason he didn't fall was because it wasn't him at all but Fiammetta doesn't understand it/can't accept it
Andoain said to Fiammetta's face that he doesn't regret what he did to Lemuen and would do it all over again.
@@TerryBradstreet
Anyone remember at which point did he say this to Fiammetta?
If it's after him meeting the pope, I think it could be intentional, in order to provoke and agitate Fiammetta.
Because I think, after Andoain learn the truth, he gave up on many things and is mentally unstable (He seeks death), before eventually get picked up by the cowboy like laterano and think for himself that he can at least still do something / still has some value alive.
@@DisIngRaM I never really thought Fiammeta was trying to kill Andoain, to me it always just felt like a "you hurt my friends so I'm gonna beat the s**t out of you until you apologize."
I say this because all three the of them know that he's currently mentally unstable & it would be weird for Mostima & Lemuen who both understand & empathize with him to help Fiammeta & then just stand by as she kills him
You're unexpectedly cheer in this vid, good to know that things go easy on you
Didn’t notice that myself ngl
You forgot Fia’s most remarkable codename, Kid named Finger
As someone who rarely read the operators record, i fckn love this series!!! keep it up man
Ayyyyy
Mostima, my perfect Goldenglow battery...
In all seriousness though, I actually really like Mostima, and her module really helps her weaknesses... and she will get way better.
She is on my auto deployment for the current Annihilation. Mostima, Goldenglow, Thorns, SilverAsh, Surtr, Skadi the Corrupting Heart, and Flametail.
Mostima is a girl that I think I would want to hang out and chat with.
I got Fiametta, but I like Kazemaru more.
Allow me to drop the madman's unorganized speculations here:
- During some conversation between Mostima and Fiammetta, not sure when or was it when they're with Lemuen; they mentioned about Andoain's mentality is being kinda wacky swingy at the time -- which I think it portrayed within Guiding Ahead event story quite clearly that he keeps letting his ideals getting in the way of decision making (when Cecelia questioning things or when Enforcer expresses his doubt on him)
- "points the gun to your own kind and you fall" might be just as literally, I really wish to access Arknights JP as that's the other language that is closer to CN I can understand but assuming there's no lost-in-translation kinda of perception in this context; it means that you as a Sankta cannot use your gun at the other Sankta regardless the reasons being it a jest, self-defense, threatening, showing gesture and whatnot -- meaning it is not necessary for the shot to be made or landed, the moment your Sankta-coded instinct breaks, you're fallen
- if the assumption above proved to be true, then why the Pope and Andoain didn't fall? I find it interesting that both of them have similar halo pattern -- we see in some E2 art and the chibi sprite effect during some skin activations that the Sankta halo changes, is it "natural" thing for them or it happens from channeling their power with The Law? Does that mean they are aware of this Sankta collective unconsciousness thingy? Well the Pope showed the PHYSICAL or at least perceivable form of The Law to Andoain and that horrified him
- if The Law itself has some sort of A.I. patterns, it's probably been analyzing every single Sankta constantly and somehow Andoain's motive and ideal is considered somewhat similar to the Pope -- "For the greater good" -- not to mention the other Sankta and Mostima herself kinda implied the "ridiculous" case like her and Cecelia might be "taken care of" directly by the Pope and just considered disappeared to other people in order to "maintain the peace"
- After the revelation from the Pope, Andoain probably gave up on changing Laterano since the Pope already showed that he did also want to change meanwhile Andoain himself knows more about the world outside Laterano, hence why he's just leaving Laterano after tagging along with Fiammetta for a bit........... would it still be "for the greater good"? who knows, not sure he picked up the gun after Lemuen shot it out from his hand before running away tho
- back to Mostima and her "special" falling, here we still have Executor and Enforcer which the former is outright a fallen with some restraint meanwhile the latter seems to slowly fall out of his Sankta-coded instinct; Executor seems to have his own will and motive as he continues working for Notarial Halls and other things is just "works to be done" for him. He will point the gun if he has to.
- As for Enforcer, he wanted to live a peaceful life undisturbed but because his kindred and considered heart comes across with Cecelia and to hear the story of Sarkaz in a perspective he never did before, he started to doubt.
- There is also something worth mentioning about Enforcer who hasn't falling too far unlike Executor did not sense anything from Cecilia who is confirmed to have a direct Sarkaz blood
- Meanwhile Mostima, she also shares some similarity with those two -- she acts and follows her own beliefs -- especially during the discovery of the Lock and the Key. While it is clear the Twin Staff is kinda haunted and might even called out to Andoain, but it is unknown if one of the Sankta already directly touched and picked up the Staff
- which Andoain may did so and his somewhat loud-than-usual thoughts alerted Lemuen and Mostima and perhaps also thanks to the Empathy, if the Entity inside the Staff talked into Andoain's mind, Lemuen and Mostima might sense it as well and find it fishy and dangerous to let Andoain make a pact with it -- two of them made a move, so did Andoain try to stop the most skillful one first but Mostima got him.
This part is still a mystery
- AND this is a very wild and baseless speculation but since The Law could be just some sort of nanomachines or similar shit to what revealed at the end of Chapter 8 and made Sankta a Sankta for the entire bloodline as long as the formula is met, then what is an alive Sankta without racial features? This goes same for the Sarkaz as well but I'm not quite unsure about the Origin of Sarkaz, I need a reminder -- but.... what if Sankta without halo and wings used to be Sarkaz? (that was opposed with the other Sarkaz long time ago, gods I'm actually still on chapter 6 literally just returned because this event, Theresis be damned)
There is also the case with Outcast (very cool Sankta grandma) but somewhat I think Qaiser is gonna bringing up in next video
my man you're channel is so underrated, this is a very well composed video and i commend you for that.
Ay Thanks a lot for that!
Good video. Was thinking of mentioning my own "what is sankta" theory, but as you are making a video about that, I will wait until then.
Video should come out in a couple of days
Ah yes, "Quandale Dingle", the perfect codename for Fiammetta
@@maxwhite9522 Oh then that's good. She seems like a shotgun gal. Maybe a Mostima alter, redeemed mostima lmao
@@pikusek2550 Bet she can't channel her arts over that blunderbuss of hers any longer, I can imagine if Mostima got her Alter form, she'll have a Raythean-produced gun that looks like her former gun.
idk if you get this a lot but i really enjoy listening to you talking about lore and such, keep it up lad
Ay I really appreciate it Fam, thank you!
Her connection to the Khala was severed, she's now like Zeratul.
Thank you for your work Doctor. Gratitude is always an option
Ayyyyy
some random theory: since iirc sarkaz are not fully physical(and therefore more subject to change) and tend to be better at the whole arts thing and all, maybe sankta are an offshoot of them that are "changed" by the law into what they are now and whenever a sankta does something that they themselves think breaks the law they start changing back.(as in the law is subjectively enforced based on whether the sankta themselves believe they broke it)
She can be your angle... or delvi...
Maybe. Perhaps. Mostima's Sarkaz features has some similar case to what happen with Ifrit who is originally a Savra but now has Sarkaz features. At least according to the Rhodes Island's Record of Originium - Rhine Lab
OMG YES NEW CONTENT, IVE BEEN CRAVING FOR DAYS
Mostima in my eyes before reading exusiai doujin: Pretty chill girl
Mostima in my eyes after reading exusiai doujin: .... go and read it yourself(it pretty wholesome tho)
maybe her tongue turns blue when she eats blue popsicles
That makes sense
This is my head canon as well. For whatever reason blue food coloring stains more than most other colors. Mostima is known to eat a lot of wacky stuff, and Sankta in general like sweets. My guess is some of her favorite snacks are blue, leading her to often have a blue tongue.
Yeah, the fact that Andoain and Pope didn’t fall when they aimed at each other confuses me as heck.
Maybe the reason for it is a feeling of guilt or the different interpretation of law - Andoain himself said something about that interpretation is what actually important
We are getting another hint of ancient machines like the sarcophagus
I think the sarkaz features appear because she fired her gun on that guy in sarkaz territory, specially near this portal
thank you for making these videos since i dont really have the time to do these events anymore😭
I could totally be wrong but I had the impression that becoming a fallen angel and that whole situation was partly mental. As in the belief in the law makes the law a reality or the belief that you are a sankta also effects it.
"A race based on demons."
>shows one of the most brutal, murderous Sarkaz individuals to show up in the story...and also some random Sarkaz mercenary guys
LMAO
Andrones angle wings look so fucking cool though omg
Mostima is a demon. She decided to sabotage my Fiametta pulls and got into the bag. Where is my Fiametta, Mostima? WHERE!? I don't hate you, but this is too much!
Apple Pie, Blueberry, and now finally... Lemon.

Ooooh, i would love it if u made one for Ceobe!!! Keep up the hard works!!!!
Laterano with nice house, gun, and a lot of snacks. Gelato, Apple pie, Ice Cream, etc. Just check if there's bomb attached.
Look at Qaiser uping his editing game, sheeesh
Ayyy
God damn it I love Mostima, by far my favorite character, everything about her (except gameplay) is S+
I think Andoain didn't become Fallen not because he used his Art on Lemuel and not his gun, but because he was born in a village in Iberie and wasn't tied to the "Law". Pop kind of mentioned during their skirmish like "So you didn't get fallen"
my favourite codename quandale dingle
For "Law" I think the best explanation is something like how concepts work. You can see similar theme in chinese books about cultivators.
Way late to this video, loving the deep dive on our time mage. Loving the FE music btw , really fits
ah yes, the one month period where mostima and quandale dingle went on a mission to raid a duke's mansion in ursus
13:18 "Quandale dingle. The One-armed Chainsaw guy that destroys dawns and is suffering."
I think the reason for becoming fallen comes down to the way you interpret the "Law".
She can be your angle... Or yuor devil.
just recently got mostima on fia's banner
and indeed the drip is YAASSSSS
Ayyyy congratulations
You're the reason I know that Deji is fighting Mayweather. When you said it, I thought it was just an end-of-video joke, but I looked it up and sure enough...
We live in an interesting timeline Fam
So far we met Lung deities, Ursus deity, Kjerag deity, Caerula (sea deity), unknown deity from the first scene of the game, and now it's Sankta-Sarkaz deity (?)
At this point, it is possible if originium is actually a by product of some deities unleashed their power in the past
Or maybe the doctor is a deity himself
@@Boldcrash It would make sense for them to get around to it eventually

I appreciate you.

Mostima indeed having blue tongue tho, because when she left she say "ciao" twice
If a Sankta gains their halo and wings the moment they speak their first word. What about the poor sankta that are mute? Thinking about it makes me sad
