- I am so close to completely rebuilding my Mclaren 720s but i find myself doing more repairs to it after i let the former stig to the first shakedown of the car and unfortunately he put it in the gravel trap, causing more damage that i originally thought.

Reabuilding an egg would be the hardest of all rebuilds I reckon! Would love to see it on the channel
finding a damaged one is a challenge already, can't imagine how hard it would be to find replacement parts
Eggs are all carbon. Any body damage would render the car unrepairable
Would be even better if it was a egg CCX, reg works even better in that sense! 😄

For the Maserati tail lights; wet sand the tinted spray until it's a proper color, and then clear coat it! it'll look great. it's so close

"Little nick" scratched a 5k carbon fiber side skirt and the expensive paint job also broke the under tray

That's proper tight with the headlights! Even our ford focus can switch between left and right hand drive in the settings!
Was thinking the same! My 2016 Focus does too. Not that I am planning on taking the ecoboost abroad though lol.

I live in Scotland and you would be better doing it in an Impreza. Even something like a fiesta st would be more fun on those roads 😂
Good shout, I did it in my Vanquish and you can not drive fast on the pothole sections due to being narrow and windy, keep your speed down and drive around them.
That cleaning process is absolutely brilliant!

Hi . On my ford focus I have light settings to change left to right hand driver, try to search in settings maby your area lucky. Ps. Love the content and wish all the best to all 🎉
Matt my lights on my leon some times stop working (led) usually its due to moisture getting in. You might of been able to take them off and strip them down and just hold a hair drier to them. Mine always work again after doing that and I usually end up needing to do it once during the winter months.

How about doing a Home epic drive, Lands end to John O Groats, stopping at as many race tracks in between so people can get to see your car, or visit as many race tracks as you can in a certain amount of time and break the lap records
Definitely the Amalfi coast Italy as it's just stunning and a great drive down there on the b roads. And it'd be very interesting to see what the Italians think to your unique choice of colour wheel combo also. 👍🏼

Road trip idea -> I'm from the US but travel to SW Germany often for work... (Bavaria area), the roads are epic.... autobahn is amazing and if you cross just over the border into Austria the views in the Alps are wicked. I'd check out this area.... I was going to say France too but there are way to many speed cameras.
Go for a drive on dukes pass- the A821. Absolutely mint.
And come past Gateshead- would love to see you!

I have found on most VAG headlights there is a metal tag inside that you can push over to make them right or left hand drive may be its the same on yours ? i supose it saves on manafacture costs having to make 2 differant types i would deffo have a look at that ..i found this out from buying a set for a beetle and bout the lhd ones by mistake cos they were loads cheaper an it was just a case of pushing over a tab that masked the projecter lens from left to right

is there not a setting in the settings menu to change the lights from left hand drive to right hand drive ? like in the mercedes / bmw/audi after 2013?
Matt . Another great video . For a road trip , what about coming up to Scotland and doing the North 500 ? It’s a great drive . To my knowledge , don’t think anyone has done one with a McLaren 😊

I think the headlights legally have to be able to be adjusted. Mclaren wouldnt make 2 different type of lights for LHD and RHD considering both need to be able to be adjusted. The 2 different ones would just be the same light with a different factory adjustment. Unsure in UK but in many countries the ability for that asdjustment is mandatory. I would look more into it before commiting to new headlights.
Nissan does 2 different sets of headlight for LHD/RHD, unless the law changed in the meantime (my car goes on its 25 years old now so maybe it's not the case anymore).
In my headlights, there is an aluminium cover/mask just in front of the lamp that gives its shape to the beam, I modified some for a friend but we had to heat the whole headlight in an over to melt the butyl and open it in order to access its inside, it's not meant to be replaced and I don't think Nissan even sells this part.

On Audi you can enable tourist mode in sw, maybe on Mclaren has sg similar. If not, maybe adjusting manually the screwes on the the headlights can be a solution. Cheers for the good content!
Recommended road trip come down to Cornwall and drive the coast road between St Ives and Pendeen. That's the best bit. Fabulous views and challenging narrow roads.
And then onto Landsend if you want
