This is an Easter inspired tutorial that shows you how to turn any plushie into an egg! I made a baby dragon which was a nice challenge because I tested out several new techniques on how to make eyes, wings and flowers. If you've never made sock plushies before then I highly recommend trying one of the easier tutorials (see links above or below), as well as the sewing techniques video. If you have a bit of experience with these plushies then you can easily adapt this method for all kinds of animals and create some very unique pieces. Fluffy socks work best because they're good at hiding uneven stuffing underneath. Since this design is quite complex, you're going to get a few lumps here and there. Be sure to tug the fabric around a bit each time you flip!

@@Janna_2825 Like, I'm right-handed so because of how I hold it all there's one on my right index finger from the hook, my left index finger from the yarn, and one on my left middle finger from holding the piece I'm working on. To be honest, I don't give much value to the "smooth hands" thing; the only reason I care is because yarn, thread, and fabric catch or stick on dry fingertips.

I've found with any fabric that frays or comes off like the fluffy sock putting a bit of fabric glue around the edges can help but it can make them a bit solid once drying
