Amazing NO SEW Plush Tutorial for Macarons!

This is an original tutorial that I created myself. It took several attempts and I'm so happy to present the final method which works really well. The hands-on time for each macaron is only 10-15mins, though you will need to wait for the glue to dry which takes at least 5 hours or ideally overnight.

The only part to be careful about is gluing the two macaron circles together. Don't squash the fabric down too hard or the glue will spread inside the circle and mess up the shape when you turn it inside-out later on. I was also too impatient with the final stage and kept lifting the books before the glue was dry so the filling wasn't fully stuck down. If this happens, you can always add more glue to the edges which aren't fully stuck together and then keep them pressed firmly under a book overnight!

@ Ylaine Gonzalvo Yes, fleece should work quite well! It's stretchier than felt so it is more suitable for making plushies. Though you have to be more careful when making the glue circle and pressing down the edges. Because the fabric is thinner, any mistakes will show up more easily and you want to try to keep the macaron shape as round as possible!
@SweetProject Journal Hehe thank you! I try to make my crafts look as realistic as possible so it's a great thing if they get mistaken for real food in the thumbnails. I'm 30 years old and I run my own business (Maqaroon) as a full-time job. Before this, I was a graphic designer and illustrator so I still do a lot of creating work for my own business ^_^

Love love love this idea! I think I'd like to sew the macaron cookie instead simply because I love a hand-sewn look but I can see why no-sew would be preferred in some cases.

Wow, gluing the fabric like you do actually makes the macaroons look like they have little feet. That's wonderful. When I have time I'm going to try and sew one of these. I can imagine making one of these really really big and having it as a pillow. Mmmm, sleeping on a macaroon. How delightful.

These macaron plushies are so cute! Can you do a video on needle felting Q&A??? I have trouble making the pieces look the right size and shape. The yellow and brown one looks like a hamburger. If you added some yellow and green 1-ply layers, it would look exactly like a hamburger.
