How to Make a GIANT Among Us Plushie using Tights!

This was the first time I tried making plushies using tights and they turned out surprisingly well! They look like cushions and would make great room decor or Xmas gifts. You do need a lot of stuffing though so make sure you get an extra bag or have some cushions you can cut open. Tight fabric is actually slightly easier to work with than sock fabric because it doesn't leave fluff everywhere and you can always see what's your doing. Just make sure not to pull on the thread too hard when sewing to prevent wrinkling the surface. And as always, please don't sell these plushies as Among Us developers have had many problems with unlicensed merch.

that's a really good idea! it would also make it softer and more opaque

I really want to make this big plush, and I have some Cyan leggings I don’t wear. The only things I don’t have is the white sock, but that can be easily replaced with an alternative, I don’t have enough stuffing though 😬

That's me every time I try a craft
It actually easy and I suck at sewing. It does take practice so you will need to make a few before it turn out good. So maybe just keep making them like I am. I made like 4 sock one so far and each one get better and better. Still pretty easy, draw, sew, and cut. No crazy pattern or anything.

Can you make another hats for among us characters video? Like the “dum” sticky note
And the Elvia hair!!
For the dum sticky note all you have to do is...
1. get piece of square yellow felt/material
2. get a sharpie
3. write dum on the material
4. use fabric glue or sew (backstitch or maybe ladder stich?) it on
5. Done! (never tried it but from my sewing knowledge this would work)

You can take a yellow sticky not and write "dum". Its the easiest way to make it.

these sock plushies are so cute! i'd love to make one someday of a bunny peep (like the easter candy; ive been collecting peep plushies this month and i realized their design is so simple, anyone could probably make one if there was a tutorial)

You could also use a bit of fabric glue (or nail polish) to secure the cut edges of the hole before stuffing to prevent ripping

Also ripping in tights can be stopped with clear coat nail polish. Hairspray can also work in a pinch. It won’t fix the damage already done but it will stop it from continuing

Am embroidery hoop might help keep the tights flatter while backstitching the legs. You will still have to hold them a bit because you don't want them too tight in the hoop but it will keep the tighrs. flatter.

You should try this with the tights that have the velvet inside! The fuzzy tights :)

Joanna! I don't sew too much. I only recently found out about the stretch/herringbone stitch being good for stretchy fabric. Is there a reason you go with the backstitch instead? Is it because of concerns that the stuffing will come out if the stitches aren't tight? Thanks for a cool vid!
