19:13 I'm from the UK, I've seen a few of these, this is correct fitting. It is slightly forward from the boot lip. The contours are aligned perfectly, you can confirm this by look at each side aspect. 👍
Hi. Im in the UK and have a civic advance e hev in crystal red. After watching your vid i have decided to get this fitted as it looks like it adds more balance to the rear and looks fantastic. Thank you for taking the time to show this.
I have been looking for something and I love that you made this! I HATE the ricer look of most spoilers and want something subtle so this is perfect! Thank you!!
Europe always getting better stuff than us in the US haha. I was looking for subtle spoilers and that OEM for us looks awful. I mean, the Civic is a super slow car, why bother with such a big wing? Looks like trying to compensate for some complex or something. Definitely will look into overpaying for this OEM ducktail before getting anything else. Glad it fitted perfectly and thank you for taking one for the 11th gen team🫡.
Man, awesome car! Awesome job on the install! If you’re accepting suggestions on future installs, I’d love to see you install the OEM fog light kit! Loving your car bro! Love the 2.0 NA 6 speed manual Sport model! And the color is so nice!
Great video, bro! I think it’s still the only video there is right now of the oem duck spoiler installation. Mind if I ask what drill bit did you use to drill them bigger holes?
Excellent job, but I think it was not necessary to do holes, looks great it improved the looks big time...I love OEM accessories I never installed after market parts in my cars.. Beautiful installation.... thank you!
Just a quick note to say that you've done an outstanding job with your Civic Sport videos! It's good to watch/read new car reviews from the auto mags and internet reviewers, but I feel that it's much more valuable to hear this kind of feedback from actual owners that can provide a more meaningful perspective on the cars. Personally, I've been a fan of Honda/Acura products for almost 40 years and have owned many wonderful ones over the years. I want one last new manual transmission Honda/Acura that I plan to keep for many years to come, and I currently have a reservation in for a 2024 Integra Type S. I have little doubt that the ITS would be a fantastic car, but I keep coming back to this car (Civic Sport, 2.0 with 6-speed manual) as a possible alternative. I own an '04 S2000 which I absolutely love, and a '15 Mustang GT convertible 6-speed that is a blast to drive, especially when I want to feel the torque of a V8. I've always loved the Honda naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engines with a slick shifting manual transmission, especially paired with a good chassis, steering, and light weight. My question for you is; do you have any regrets not opting for an Si, Type R, or ITS? Thanks again for the great videos and keep them coming!
Thanks for the comment! That’s a great question. Honestly since I still have my s2000 I have no regrets not going for the Si, CTR, or ITR. Financially this car just made the most sense in a world where inflation has ruined dreams for a lot of us. For a daily that will be ran through the winter and not garaged, I couldn’t justify something less reliable, worse gas mileage, takes premium fuel, and twice the cost. I think this car is a gem in this day and age of expensive cars. It’s fun to drive and I don’t need a track focused car for a daily. I get to rip the s2000 when I want still to get that excitement. I can sleep peacefully every night knowing how much I saved vs the cars you mentioned, and put that money I saved towards track days and other car events with the s2000
Bro, i pulled the trigger, waited almost a month for it to arrive. Got it installed the other day! Loving it! I found the Carbon Fiber version of the OEM. Thanks to this video!!
Hello, this comment is for anyone wanting to buy this spoiler. I purchased the spoiler and this plastic little prongs on the spoiler are held on with some type of glue similar to double sided tape. They peel off and there is no holes below it. The gasket comes off very easily as well.
Nice didn't know they had a duckbill spoiler for the hatchback thats so cool. I installed the hpd spoiler to mine, loving it so far it blocks most of the rear traffic headlights at night, which was a nice bonus for me :)
You did a great job and it's really beautiful. This spoiler is so much better than the other one which is really very tacky. I was just envisioning This duck bill spoiler in Black On a Pearl white Civic fast back. That would be sharp.
UKDM spoiler looks pretty good, but hearing its almost double that of the USDM spoiler $ - that's pretty wild! Also shocked to hear the rear hatch is made of plastic! Nice detailed video with no stone left unturned - great job!
Awesome video. You made the install so meticulously, with great insight on the little other things you did. I think it looks great, and the spacing on the rear edge looks fine to me, and if you did move it, like you stated, it might have contour fitment problems. Sonic Grey Pearl is my second favorite color, so if I got the Sport Hatchback, I would most likely get the Boost Blue Pearl and order the Berlina Black spoiler if I did, and probably get the matching black caps for the roof mounted shark fin antenna and door handles. But I will probably get the HR-V Sport and not do much modifications or customization to the exterior except maybe the black emblems and tinted windows. Maybe put the front and rear silver HPD lower bumper pieces to protect the edge from scraping.
Looks good. I have the HB touring in the same color and I added the small one in black from Spoiler King and I really like the contrast. Looks sporty in black. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Looks really good. Reminds me of the ducktail spoilers we used to put on the 92-95 hatch. I would have maybe opted to have it either flat or gloss black to match the wheels and get the car tinted.
Very nice find! I had no idea they had an Euro OEM ducktail for this hatchback. The side profile looks awesome, but I do wish the center section didn't have a cutout and it was straight across. Either way, looks great paint matched as opposed to the black stands and then paint matched HDP spoiler.
I just got my civic sport hybrid in crystal blue premium here in the uk. I absolutely love this car but I was admiring it from afar the other day and I know what you mean about it looking naked without a spoiler. I might look into getting a spoiler
Me personally, I’m a huge of the way the HPD spoiler looks and it just adds to and compliments the look of the car so that’s the one I will be getting but this does look good. Looks perfectly aligned.
Nice, got a 2024 is the burst blue pearl. I ordered the other spoiler. I’m considering doing it myself after watching you. Unless I can find someone to do it for less than $200.
Looks awesome. I have the same color and sport trim but Canadian version. I'm wondering if a black spoiler is available and if it would look as good on it as the sonic grey one.
Seems like every car on the road has a black tacked on spoiler these days, IMO if you can get this paint matched to your car, go for it! Being the price is the same as the black one. However if there is not a paint matched one available in your color black is the next best thing
Bro what an amazing video!! My only question is how do I get that wing in boost blue??! I just bought my 6spd transmission a week ago and this wing just makes the car even better but the link you provided doesn’t come in boost blue 😣 unfortunately.. I’m wondering should I just get any color and just sand it down and get it painted at a paint shop to match? What are your thoughts bro! Thank you!
Get the black one and slap it on, will still look good! They don’t have boost blue as a color in Europe, that’s Why it’s not available. Bloost blue is only in the US
What exactly did you use to drill the holes? I heard 7/16th but what was it called exactly? A link would super awesome 🙏🏻 your vid inspired me to buy these piece, should be here next Tuesday!!

Very nice. Next time take a picture of the car with a different lens, I think the fisheye lens may distort the side profile too much. Great video though!
I have a 2025 civic sport in urban grey I wanted to match the black side mirrors but I don’t know the color code. Should I go berlina black or crystal black pearl?
How would you feel about cutting the studs off and using only double sided tape to hold the spoiler? I’ve always been a fan of duck bills. I’d be scared shitless to drill holes into my hatch..
Some kind of protection (like primer or some paint )for the naked metal after drilling would have been good Honda bond also might do the same Nice info videos on Honda civic manual keep them coming
I do not know the exact material makeup. But it’s some type of plastic composition. There is a steel frame on the inside of it that the HPD spoiler mounts to. But nothing will rust from drilling holes just like your front and rear bumper
Great tutorial! Anyone know the difference between Berlina Black (600J), Carbon Black (600K), and Crystal Black (680H)? Which would match Blue Boost best?
Any thoughts on whether or not the new gas shocks are strong enough to open the hatch without any human intervention or are they identical to the current ones installed!
What a great video. You did a great job all around showing how it's done, I really appreciate your channel.
This was nerve wracking for me too. I’m glad it worked out. It looks great. Like it was done by a pro. It gives the rear some much needed punch.
That ducktail looks clean af

awesome man thanks for the confirmation that I did it correct! Loving it so far!
I'm in love with our new 2023 Civic hatch.
Nice car, bro. I got the Sport Touring hatchback and was looking for a spoiler, and you added a new option.🫡
Sport touring w the 1.5 🤮
I got a sport 2.0 like my boy here that knows

You are welcome sir ! Enjoy! I think I’m still the only one in the USA with this on!
@@NAUS2K well you did an amazing job fitting it
I can confirm the red is a perfect match as well...
Nice! It’s very rare to see the new Civics in the UK.
You are a brave man. Can't argue with the result, though. Transforms the look of the rear of the car.
I absolutely love it. Fantastic job, my friend. Keep up the great content.
great video. excellent job on showing how it's done. hope you enjoy this vehicle.
Great video. You had me nervous watching you drill those holes. Came out looking great. Good Job.

Glad I could help my friend! Subscribe and stay tuned, lots of other cool videos coming up for this car!
This spoiler gives it such a clean look🔥🔥🔥
Every time I see a hatch without it now it looks so awkward
@@NAUS2K I fell in love with this car but I don't like how it forces you to pick certain trims for certain features.
It's cars like this that's gonna last in this SUV and crossover world
Dude, this is valuable content. Great job. Thank you for the detailed install and part numbers and everything!
I'm definitely going to order this. No boost blue. So I am going with berlina black and hopefully find a good shop to paint it. Great video BTW!
Thats a tasteful addition really completes the symmetry of the car.

Fantastic job, it's a subtle change but it really suits the car and makes the rear look sporty. It should be a factory option for NA.

@@NAUS2K could you please elaborate what's the composition of this composite material
