00:08 - La Reconquista (Andrew Markel) 03:48 - Memories of the Spirit (Brad Edwards) 10:08 - Full Tilt (Anthony DiLorenzo) 14:43 - Fire and Stone (James Kazik) 19:15 - In Their Gentle Presence (Dan Isgar) 23:37 - One For the Road: I. Leffe (Steven Verhelst)
Wonderful playing! Intonation is probably one of the biggest challenges for trombone choirs but you guys really ring true - excellent in all categories! And shout outs to the composers too. Great ensembles drive the need for contemporary material which is appreciated by audiences who encourage ensembles - a happy circle.
Its strange how many years ago I was a trombone jock, but now after about 15 minutes I find it to be somewhat tedious. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate the musicianship and obviously they are very talented, but much like any same instrument ensemble I need more variety, and the trombone provides more variety than most other same instrument ensembles.
Trombone is really phenomenal at small ensembles like this. The fine tuning control of the slide makes harmonizing much cleaner.
12:16 oh my god
I'm in bass trombone heaven

Wow, this is incredible. One of the best trombone groups I've ever listened to

I just came from an HBCU trombone battle to this, I love how diverse the instrument is, I only wish I could play it this well.
Half an hour of this really isn't enough
