The jump from normal rumble to haptic feedback is like the jump from 30 fps to 60.
Once you've experienced it, there's no way back.

I haven't had the same experience outside of Astros Playroom. I have yet to find a game that actually utilizes it well.

The only feedback I need is from a restock in my local shops

The haptics in this controller are way more impressive and immersive than I expected. You really do have to feel it to get just how next level it is

Love the haptic feedback in Miles Morales too, the web swinging feels awesome
I like the effect the controller gift gives off when using the spider bot. It feels like a real spider in your hands in a way.
Can't say I like haptic feedback because I don't have a ps5

I can imagine in a few years with the full potential realized, you can feel if someone’s on the other side of a wall, a floor below, a door, etc. with the dual sense vibrations.
Imagine FEELING Nemesis or Mr. X footsteps shaking your controller the closer you get?

Now this is taking gaming with a controller to a new level didn’t believe it until I got a PS5 and wow I was blown away by Duelsense haptic feedback and the adaptive triggers blew me away in vanguard.

It's great, it's definitely way more intense and ... descriptive than any other controller i've used. But the real beauty is how it works along with the adaptive rear triggers, which blow my mind every time they lock up or snap or rumble based on how a specific weapon or game mechanic is using it.
Feeling the rain pitter-patter on the controller in Returnal is AMAZING

Complete and utter bull 💩. It has a horrible drift problem, consistently odd hand feel and has still yet to make significant enough use of its gimmicks to warrant their inclusion. It isn't even the best Playstation controller, and they suggestion that it's the best controller ever made is nothing but stupid festering loads of idiotic bull 💩 that prove you to be an ignorant sack of filth that knows nothing of what constitutes quality controllers. And thats a fact. Permaleaving and reading no replies so this is our last contact, deal with it.

This controllers is next level!!! Really makes difference when playing. Awesome!!
I love this controller. I've been playing WRC 9 and they managed to put resistance on the left trigger so not only does it feel like a brake pedal, but it stutters when the anti-lock brakes activate. On top of that, the rumbles are different depending on the surface you're driving on.
I particularly like how in the included Astro Bot game, when walking across glass or metal, they put subtle tink-tink-tink noises through the controller in conjunction with his footsteps so it really does have the sensation of tapping glass or metal.
I thought that Sony and some people overrated these functions but I got my PS5 yesterday, and it is a total game changer.
The new playroom did a great job of showing off everything! Plus it's a pretty decent game since it comes with the console

I hope Spiderman 2 brings the tension in the webs while swinging.. even 3rd party games, i only buy on ps5 now.. since I know for the fact that there will something new to be experienced..

The controller is fantastic. Returnal and Astro make phenomenal use of it. I can't play shooters now without the adaptive triggers being adopted, as it makes the whole feel of the game feel so much better.
I just hope most future games will implement this feature along with haptic triggers.

Imagine if sony could implement temperature controllers on triggers. And implement it in fps games where the longer you hold the trigger, the hotter the trigger get. OR in racing games where temps would vary depending on rev matches. OR would be cools when triggers become hot when Kratos uses his blades and cold when using axe. How cool would that have been

When used properly its phenominal, Astro's Playroom, Returnal and WRC9 have my favourite Dualsense effects so far.
I’ll be owning a PS5 this holiday season. Can’t wait to use that dual sense!

Haven't played every ps5 game yet, but in astro's playroom sand and especially ice surfaces feel insanely cool. And just in general haptics and triggers feel very satisfying...

The controller is my favorite part about the entire console. There’s no point in buying it by itself. I need the console to play the games with haptic feedback.

Love the fact that controller it self has its own software
I just tried nioh 2 and wow, it’s implemented really nicely. I have a fist build and every punch that connects with the enemy is felt. Soooo cool. Also enjoy opening doors and breaking objects.
I love the Dualsense and it’s features, but the battery could be a lot better!

I was skeptical on the DualSense haptic's until I got my PS5 in May, it was nice to be wrong about it, but its also a shame the battery life has to suffer for it, you basically need 2 of them if you want longer gaming sessions, I'm not saying battery life is as bad as the Wii U Gamepad, but its not far off.

A vibrating Ratchet snapped my right trigger after less than 50 hours on the system.

It's a shame but the thing is that there are no parts right now,as the chips needed are also used in PC graphics cards and sanitary equipment,meaning that they could afford to make more,but there's no material.

I was blown away that Scarlet Nexus also has the speech on the PlayStation 5 With kasane telekinesis power and I could felt the struggle with the triggers and I can even feel it on the controller itself what also blew me away is in destruction all stores when I break my vehicle lightly I can feel the trigger
