you also have the option of getting a recharge pack, which is best of both worlds and still lasts even longer. The built in battery has no argument or reason to be "better". They just want you to buy more sticks fools.

I really hope they can replicate the feeling of a real world trigger with these, the smooth first stage, then the right amount of pressure to crisply fire. It would make shooters so much more immersive.

Had a few problems with the PS4 controller like the d-pad getting stuck in a certain direction & stick drift. I've had to replace a few PlayStation 4 controllers, hopefully the DuelSence controller isn't affed by stick drift

So... are the analog sticks still slippery-as-hell as soon as you have either very dry or very sweaty hands? That was my nr1 complaint about the DS4. The only controller I've actually gotten some thumbgrips for... (I'd also consider those for the Switch Pro pad though tbh).
How can you score this controller a 9 when the durability is a 1! I already bought 2 controllers and both of them the R2 trigger became loose and unplayable. On my second controller I never used the “trigger effect” and it still became loose
I think the create button is a better option. The PS4 Controller was not responsive when recording. I would double take to record and when I’m finished I would stop it and find out the gameplay was not recording at all.
Compared to, say, Nintendo's WiiU and Switch Pro Controllers that's definitely a downgrade, but for PS4 players acostumed to the pathetic 2-4 hour charge of the Dualshock 4 it represents a massive upgrade. It also should be said that the Dualsense lasts less than a Switch Pro because it's doing way more with its built in speaker and microphone, adaptive triggers, touchpad, and led lights.

Personally, I never had an issue with the PS4 controller's battery life. Sure it would reach "empty" and give a warning that it was about to die, but I would often play for many hours past that point before it actually died. I also got in the habit of plugging in the controller and putting the PS4 in rest mode when I planned to play later so it would be charged when I was ready. Even if all that failed, you could still play with it plugged in, admittedly the cable isn't as long as I'd like.
If you tap the L1 and R1 buttons you feel a vibration in the pad that's mechanical like springy as if its cheaply made. I bought 2 controllers to test and they both sound springy like vibration you can feel the vibration, can you feel it too? let me know
So I managed to get my hands on a ps5, don't ask me how.. it's embarrasing, but the hardware is REALLY cool. It just looks great with the white aestetic and thebcontroller is super solid feeling. At first the control felt a bit too big for my very average size hands but when just playing and not thinking about it it feels great. At the sticks, buttons and especially the triggers feel amazing. And that haptic feedback.. it's actually really cool. Sony's designers really hit it out of the park on this one. So far the speaker on it is still a bit of a gimmick and I found myself turning it on and off on demons souls. But everything else is a home run.
I hope that in the future Sony will release an update for the PS4 to make it compatible with Dualsense. It would be extremely practical to have a single controller that is compatible with the PS3, PS4, PS5, PC and Android/iOS, it is quite strange that DualSense is compatible with the PS3 and PS5 but not with the PS4.
finally scored a ps5, and this controller changes everything. Playing my switch and xbox one, the standard vibration is just so bland now... the dualsense is gamechanging.
6:00 is there no way to adjust the Party audio mix like with the PS4? Just move the slider towards party audio to hear your teammates louder than the ingame sound? Otherwise turning down the game sound and using headphones seems like an easy fix for that.

The dualshock 4 is cheap and creaky, The dualsense feels way more dense and expensive. It is without a doubt the biggest leap in controller technology PlayStation has ever had.

@3:22 TEN to THIRTEEN HOURS? I know that's no Switch or WiiU Pro Controller numbers but that's still a massive upgrade from the Dualshock 4's paltry 2-4 hours max of battery life per charge. And the Dualsense is doing a whole lot more than a Switch Pro Controller so I understand why it lasts less time. My one complaint is Sony dumping the iconic colors of the face buttons. I wish they'd just color the shapes themselves and the leave the buttons white and they'd still look super slick.
On a PC I typically go Xbox one controllers but I’ve had major issues with Bluetooth connection stability on my Xbox controllers even with driver updates. Eyeballing the dual sense, sounds like an excellent controller.

You do know that the Switch Joycons/Pro Controllers has haptic feedback right. They called it HD rumble.

Nothing is perfect but the best controller till now, its incredible
@3:22 TEN to THIRTEEN HOURS? I know that's no Switch or WiiU Pro Controller numbers but that's still a massive upgrade from the Dualshock 4's paltry 2-4 hours max of battery life per charge. And the Dualsense is doing a whole lot more than a Switch Pro Controller so I understand why it lasts less time. My one complaint is Sony dumping the iconic colors of the face buttons. I wish they'd just color the shapes themselves and the leave the buttons white and they'd still look super slick.
On a PC I typically go Xbox one controllers but I’ve had major issues with Bluetooth connection stability on my Xbox controllers even with driver updates. Eyeballing the dual sense, sounds like an excellent controller.
Is there a way to turn off the adaptive triggers cause playing any shooter game or building in Fortnite is terrible it’s always a little resistance in the trigger pull

Does the mute switch mute every Mic connected to PS5?
Mute is a button on a controller...why would it mute all mics?
@@Art777Korsun the Majority of users will use external Mics on headsets for instance. It would be pointless to mute the mic on the controller while other mics are still activated
@@STREZZD other mics have their own mute button lol and PS4 just got an update that mutes all mics through the console
@@sobversion3 No, my external Mic connected via USB has no mute switch. Sony now confirmed that this button will also mute connected mics. A long press mutes all audio output.
