      jxsilicon9 I had a ex I dated for two weeks write me a email a few years ago when he could of just FB message me. He wrote 20 pages of why I shouldn’t of broken up with him, and my reason was bullshit. I don’t know how he found my email address. The reason why I broke up with him is because he lied about his age. I just turned 19 and he was 37/38, he looked young and told me he was somewhere in his mid 20’s and I believed him till I seen his ID

    He honestly could have understood that she was drunk, left her house after she made the first pass, and offered to check on her the next day. Even after the second pass, he still could have left the house and talked to her about it once she was sober, especially if they were so-called friends. Never said she groped him, never said she forced or coerced him. I'd fully understand the sexual assault claim if she'd actually assaulted him. Even then, it STILL wouldn't justify murder.

    • @teem5642
      @teem5642 3 роки тому

      Exactly. That's what I'd say to a woman. She should have understood that he was drunk. She should have left the house and offered to check on him the next day. She could have talked to him when he was sober........... Come on man, sexual assault is sexual assault. Why is it a pass when it's men?

    • @Bubblez914
      @Bubblez914 3 роки тому

      @@teem5642 @Tee M Yes, sexual assault is sexual assault regardless of the genders of the victim and assailant. But specifically regarding this situation, these people were allegedly friends, he was inside of her home, she was drunk and he was sober, she tried to kiss him, and he dodged it. At that point, he should have just got up and left. Why stay and remain in that situation? And regardless of all of that, my point is that it's still no excuse for him to kill her. ESPECIALLY after they'd moved on from each other's lives.

      I agree but I also think it is not necessary to report sexual assault when a drunken friend asks you to have sex. She should have been punished for it, because it was not okay and she is not supposed to have sex with her superior, but they also could have talked it out between the two of them. And I don't say this because he is a man, I think a women in the same situation could also have gone home and talk with him when he is sober, get an apology and then just keep away from each other. He is definitely obsessed with every little mistake she makes and it wasn't her fault that he was not treated the way he wanted by others.

    To all the non military people saying "he was the victim and he got in trouble because he was the superior putting himself in that situation?". The thing is, you aren't allowed to fraternize with people below your rank, especially if they report to you! It isn't victim blaming, he broke military rules too... He SHOULDN'T of been fraternizing with her and it's his responsibility as the superior to maintain the professional relationship and say no to private hang outs... That's why he was reprimanded.

I was management in a lot of businesses and I wasn't allowed to hang out with any employees that were lower than me, if I did that then I would understand if consequences ever came down on me. Don't make yourself a victim just cuz you can't follow simple rules, common sense.

    I don't care if it was a man or a woman in that scenario, it wasn't sexual assault. She went to kiss him, he rejected her. He follows her to the bedroom and she asks him to join her and he says no and leaves. That is simply a rejection, an attempted hook up that was turned down. If he felt threatened after she tried to kiss him he shouldn't have went into the bedroom but even then she didn't force him to do something he didn't want to do. She made a pass and got turned down; that happens all the time. As a woman, if I was him in this scenario and Lisa was a man or woman even I wouldn't consider this sexual assault, she asked him to join her, didn't threaten him or force him- she asked him.... for a man in the military this is pathetic. For a man in general, pathetic. If it had been a woman still pathetic but I'd go further and say drama queen or attention seeker..... ridiculous!

    I find it awfully telling that a man saying he felt violated sexually is ridiculed, mocked and disregarded, yet we're expected to treat a woman in the same position like a violated victim survivor of an assault. Why exactly do we have duch double standards against men? Womens lib was an issue til we dealt with it. When will we start treating men equally?

    • @missmandy2049

      Look, I agree. The point I wanted to make, is that we are expected to coddle women & treat them as they've been victimized, whether it's been proven to be true yet, or not. Hell, we're not even to question whether it's true or not, or whether it's something that's been blown out of proportion, such as this, or if she's just been blown off by the guy & wants to ruin him at all cost. I as a woman myself, know that some women, will stop at nothing to ruin a man's life. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, of course it happens. I'm saying, some women do, in fact, lie about it, just because they are angry & before an innocent man is vilified, there should be due process, not just believe the woman right away & vilify the man, just because she said so...because broadcasting the accusation alone, can ruin a life. Hillary Clinton said "all women (that make the accusation) should be believed" oh, except the women that accused Bill...?

    • @cosmicmuffin322
      @cosmicmuffin322 6 років тому +51

      This guy is not an example of a male sexual assault victim. Yes men are sexually assaulted and then not believed (mostly by other men cause they're seen as weak and unmanly). But this guy was offered sex and turned it down. He then got so obsessed and resentful at this imaginary assault (the most he claimed was that she touched his arm!), and he fucking murdered them both!! This guy is a total nutjob! Male survivors of assault deserve every support. This guy is a psychotic stalker and murderer.

    It is very common for delusional men to convince themselves that an attractive woman has come on to them. I once offered a coworker to spend the night on my couch because he was too drunk to drive. The next day he told my manager that I tried to have sex with him. That was apparently his honest perception of what happened. I was shocked he took it that way, but what could I do?

I was so shook I just got out the car and walked the rest of the way. Like, some people look too deep into the smallest encounters.

If she wasn't charged for that, the CG dropped the ball because we get training every year on the same things. It should have been sexual assault and alcohol incident. Now, the way Loya handled it was wrong. No one deserves to die or be shot, he should have seeked help from EAP for his mental distress. RIP Lisa and hope Loya gets help needed while he is incarcerated.

    There's a couple things that I think about the sexual assault charge. 1. Either she did more than just "try" to kiss him and "touch his arm" whilst asking him to sleep in her bed, or 2. He was sexually abused as a kid, and her trying to make a move on him triggered him and made him feel the emotions of sexual abuse. Because no normal human being (male or female) would write a 26 page email and report a drunk woman or man for "trying" to kiss him/or her and for touching his/or her arm. Especially if they were as close of friends as described.

There is a set of “good ol’ boys” in most every area who give Texas a bad name though. It’s a shame, but I suppose true in many areas of the world.

    We are only in part 1 of this but so far I have to say that if the sexes were reversed in this military would have backed the woman up to the destruction of the mams career. However, it seems he is a bit off but men should be taken just as seriously when they feel victimised as a woman would be. Now off to part 2 to see how off the rails this guy went

      How was he "victimized"? He wasn't coerced or intimidated. She invited him to have sex and he refused. Then they both got reprimanded for fraternizing. Unless his version of the story is wildly different and missing from the account in the video, noboby was victimzed here, no matter the genders involved.

      Brandy B while I agree that this is sexist and it would have gone down differently if the roles were reversed, it's my opinion that there likely wouldn't have been very much damage to his career. I think they didn't like that he reported it so they reprimanded him too and filed the incident down.

      military hates reports of rape/ sexual assault from any gender and it ussually harms your career to report. There are literally hours of documentaries on how the military has long history of sweeping it under the rug and practically forcing women to quit. A few men were in some of the stuff I watched very similar treatment.

      Fact is not everyone Is beautiful yet when speaking about women. It's not even a compliment anymore it's like saying excuse me to be polite. This is flat out using the word incorrectly.
      She got what she deserves because women like her always get away with bad behavior. And I'm allowed to speak about a dead person. I didn't kill them nor does me speaking about them good or bad change anything. You're very illogical, you think saying words make you a good person or changes something about THAT MAN killing THAT WOMAN. You're watching this on a screen and you didn't do anything or help anything at all. Get over yourself. You did absolutely nothing to help this woman so acting like you give a shit makes you even worse. Oh it's so bad because a video popped up to entertain you. I bet you don't know about 1% of the men, women and children who die in your own city. Fake outrage, false sympathy you're a fraud and a joke.
      Btw suck it

  • @Acidfunkish
    @Acidfunkish 6 років тому

    I don't think this guy knows what sexual assault actually is. He got his arm touched and propositioned. Most women get worse than that on an average Tuesday.
    The absolute worst part is that she asked again, after he'd already said no. That's not sexual assault. That's not even sexual harassment, as he was the superior, and could expect no repercussions for denying her request. He could have left at any time. He wasn't scared for his life. He had absolutely no reason to believe that anything bad would come to him for any reason.
    To all of the people taking the dude's side, in any manner, the fuck is wrong with you? He was not sexually assaulted. He was not pressured to do something he didn't want to do, because she had no leverage over him - not size, not seniority, nor anything else. Bringing up whether men may or may not be "laughed at" for reporting sexual assault is a moot point - there was no sexual assault, here.
    And while I'd like to make it clear that I don't believe men should have to expect treatment like this, either, this is pretty standard stuff for a woman that goes outside during any point of the week. This is how women are treated pretty much daily, if they make themselves approachable. And if the woman were the "victim" of the same, it would still not be sexual assault. Creepy behaviour, absolutely. Criminal behaviour, absolutely not.
    The criminal behaviour happens a lot later, and makes it pretty obvious he was never a well-balanced individual. So stop taking his side. It makes you look tunnel-visioned and ignorant.

      Gemini Vixen Chelly Well he got not guilty due to mental illness. So probably the sexual harassment pushed to a point that shamed him that he planned out the entire ordeal.
      Same way some women keep quiet about sexual abuse till they reach breaking point and finally speak out some even after 30 years on Cosby's account.
      The fact they overlook the sexual harassment on his part is double standard. A close friend suddenly turned murderer. Seems like one of those cases where a guy forced and abused a trust of female friend but in this case the gender is reversed.
