  • I built a 22-foot-long, marquee-style menu board to mount above a cheesesteaks counter at a new, junkyard-themed bar.

Regarding the power supply listed above:
▶ I highly recommend the Mean Well series of power supplies, which I've now used for years without a problem.
▶ One spool of the LEDs listed above draws 2 amps DC, so if you're using a full spool, you want a power supply listed above that. I listed a 3-amp supply above.
▶ For other models, search for Mean Well APV. This series goes up to 3 amps. For higher amperage, or for outdoor use, search for the LPV series.
▶ These are meant to be general recommendations and not expert advice. Good luck!

I run down the theoretical UA-cam stairs in my imaginary bunny jammies, smash the play button and sit cross-legged in front of the crackling screen (should probably get a new one) lost in imagination.
Honestly, I enjoy every second of these. Thank You Wesley!

    • @WesleyTreat

For something indoors like this, 4-5 inches apart and about 4-5 inches away from the face is usually a good starting point for these strips, but I usually test it first.
