I have flown Kenyan Airways London to Nairobi in business class and it was excellent. I was told the plane was new and it certainly was, you could smell the paint. As far as I remember the food was good and I would be happy to fly with them again.
Nairobi to Moroni reminds me of a hijacked Ethiopian which was denied landing at Nairobi and tried Moroni. Sadly didn't make it leading to fatalities. Including my then favorite photojournalist Mo Amin.
The aircraft was not 'denied' landing at Nairobi. Nairobi was its scheduled destination. The hijackers had demanded to be flown to Australia. When an aircraft is in an emergency any close landing facility is open game because like it or not gravity is a bitch.
Embraer E-190 LR operated by Kenya Airways in Africa . . . couldn't be any better . . . for transcontinental long haul & as a full service airline it should acquire a fleet of atleast 14 brand new B787-10 & 8 B787-9 . . . it'll need the A350-1000 ULR in the near future if Kenya Airways seriously wishes to go ultra long range . . . for e.g. Nairobi - Sydney or Nairobi - Anchorage non-stop . . . for the time being Kenya Airways can operate a fleet of 10 - 12 second hand B777-300 ER . . .

Im from kenya. Kenya airways reputation is usually ruined by overpriced tickets that dont much the quality of service. Also kq is notorious for cancelling flights and not giving refunds. Their colleagues from the north are doing better.

You can unsubscribe if you want. But I am sure you will also understand that due to the pandemic we are not able to travel as much and have to resort to publishing videos we have recorded some time ago and were never able to post. Kenya Airways still operates this exact aircraft with the same cabin. So I do not see a reason why we would just delete the video files and never share them. Even if you might not care, plenty of other people do. So if this is enough reason for you to leave us, even though new video are coming and are being posted as we speak (each new episode of Brutally Honest was recorded in 2021), then I am sorry to see you go.

Good times, I remember I used to take these Embraer 190 from Nairobi to Mombasa for weekend trips or business trips when I was in Kenya
So far,this is the only E-Jet with IFE that I ever seen.
