Safety and sweep of equal percentages i presume. Easy to get a nip near the femeral artuary and the crown jewels when your worn out from 3hrs continous cutting with the giant old 30" stihl. The old 2013 models were heavy dont know of the new ones are much lighter ..but il soon find out when my 800euro 30" arrives to join my 3 tanakas. Dont use my hl94ce much ,i find that i get a more level better finish with my old steppladers and 24" than the unweildy ginormus 283cm poley.
Wouldnt mind some tripod henchmans tho.

If by some miracle my HS81R'S ever die, I may think about replacing them with a battery set. They will need to be something special as the 81's are absolutely phenomenal!!

Hi just wanted a bit of help regarding the stihl has 94 r , I had a unit fail after a month now in my second unit and the same problem has courier basically sparks out the top of the motor until where the vents are . It’s hasn’t been used in an incorrect manner or pushed to the limits . But I am left wondering weather to go back to petrol 82 r. I am speaking to stihl and the dealer but don’t feel confident in using this unit for my business .

Hi, Sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with the your machine, I hope you manage to get it resolved.
I really wouldn't. go back to a petrol hedge trimmer, as the battery ones are so much nicer to use.
      thank you for watching.

I have a very nice sharp triangle scar in my upper leg from a hedge trimmer. Definitely my fault because I didn't wear proper ppe. Stupid me.

I feel like if people don't know what this guard is for or that it is indeed a guard, then they shouldn't be operating such machinery LOL

The stihl electric motors are to lightweight ,having to change them every six months on all my cordless tools ,@£100 a time makes the product not up to the job ,

Haven’t had to change a motor on any of our units - we have had some of them for 6 years.

Has this turned into a advertising channel for stihl, i thought they had a catalogue out already, i mean really.
