- Hedge cutter / Brush cutter protection trousers.
My review is based on, 6 weeks of using them for hedge trimming protection and as gardening trousers.
They are very well made and comfortable, a little warm on the front of the legs in hot weather, but the vents do help greatly.
Hedge trimmers are designed to cut and a danger of injury, so ppe is as important with such tools, as any other power tool, because often your cutting close to legs.

I wear the stihl protection ones all the time in winter. Well made and like you say at the start they are uncomfortable but once worn in they are nice to wear and protect you well.
Cheers Scott 👍
Another great video JASON 👍
Cheers Paul 😊👍
Thank you Jason for the video, really like your description and feedback on the trouser. Very helpful, I need to buy one
Thank you, I'm glad it's been of help to you 🙂
Great review! Love all your work and videos!
I started a hedge trimming business about a year and a half ago, based on you and your skills, and have never looked back!
Theses are the only pants l wear for safety, flexibility and comfort…
Cheers mate, from down under.🇦🇺
Wow, I'm really pleased the videos have been helpful to you mate, finding time to edit videos is definitely, but plenty of videos to come.
Much appreciated mate 👍👍
Yes, finding time to edit videos can be hard!
I have always be a Stihl guy, and when l purchased all my hedging/trimming gear, l went with the AP battery range. I wouldn’t have done it 5 years ago, as the battery tools have gotten a lot better.
Looking forward to your up coming videos, thanks again mate.
Great review. Very informative. They seem like an excellent pair of work pants, especially in re: to using hedge trimmers and chain saws near your legs. A good choice of pads for different types of work, too. I totally agree with you about pockets, too. I need roomy pockets, I'm always filling mine up with extra trimming string and small pliers and snippers, etc. Good review.
Thanks Lisa.
They are not chainsaw protection, I'm the same, filling pockets up with similar things, plus hedge clipping lol.
Hope your keeping well
👍👍
Nice review Jason. 👍👍👍👍👍😉🇺🇸
Thank you Neusa 😀😀👍
Great review - Nice to have that extra layer of protection.
Thanks mate, most definitely, hedge cutters are very underestimate, in what damage they can do.
😀👍
Ta for the review mate.. look comfortable and practical..
Thanks mick, yes they are surprisingly comfortable and tough.
👍👍
Great review!
Great review as always mate.
Thank you James 😀👍
Good honest review mate👍🏼
Cheers martyn, hope you and family are keeping well
😀👍
Who knew, thanks for the review. Always need larger pockets 😁
Cheers 😀👍
Nice work 👍
Thank you 😀👍
Been wearing mine for the last 9 years. Like you said my only complaint is the side pockets are too small.
I like them, well made
Cool, good to hear your experience, with them is similar, 👍👍
Hi Jason, have you ever tried the Stihl FS3 Protect trousers? I'm wondering if these HS hedge cutting trousers would be noticably cooler in the hot weather than the brushcutter FS3 trousers. Wondering if you might have tried both to know? Thanks and appreciate the videos.
Hi Jason , I have these trousers too , you are right about pockets , keys can easily fall out !. Where do you buy your small green dumpy bags ? Hope you are well , nice bit of rain yesterday 👍

Thanks goerdie mate.
They are pretty tough trousers 👍.
It's same cutter, I trimmed some box with bad blight, before the job on vid, so it got a very good clean.

Hi Jason, a few years ago you made a video on how tot sharpen hedge cutters. Which brand/kind of files and whetstone do you use in the video?
Many thanks and I enjoy watching your videos!!!
Hi.
Brand isn't important, any good quality fine file will be perfect, just don't rush.
👍👍👍
@@jasongardener3425 I 100 procent agree with that so I should rephrase the question. Is the cut of the file u use rough, middle, bastard, second cut, smooth, or dead smooth?
@@janvleugels5306 really depends on the condition of the blades, but smooth / fine is best 👍
Nice review 👍 do you think they'd stop a hedge cutter? Had someone a few years ago lay into his thigh while trimming 🙄 no good for me if the front pockets are small...need somewhere to keep the wallet🤣
Cheers mate, I'm pretty confident, hedge cutter won't go through them, the damage of hedge cutters is generally underestimate, as you've seen and sadly me too.
I wish I had your pocket problem 😂.
👍
@@jasongardener3425 👌🤣
Do they come with the pads in them when u by them.
No, you have to buy the pads separately I'm afraid mate
