- This is part 1 of our motorhome trip to the Outer Hibrides. We travel through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, the beautiful glen of Glencoe and the Island of Skye where we board the ferry from Uig to Tarbert on the Island of Harris. We witness the stunning beaches in Harris before traveling to Lewis where we are stunned at the historical sites on the Island. #motorhome #motorhoming #glencoe #skye #harris #lewis

Hi, great video, you really struck it lucky with the weather.
I dont usually nitpick, but lewis and harris are not separate islands but in fact one island, which is the biggest in Scotland

A beautiful watch guys , a walk down memory lane for us, apart from the first campsite which we haven’t been to and it looked beautiful. We had an interesting moment at the CCC Skye the warden walked us to a pitch , we set up and about two hours later a motorhome arranged and claimed we were on their pitch, rather rudely to be honest 😂. Good job we are thick skinned and not easily phased. Shows the need to leave something to mark the pitch when you leave for the day I guess. Looking forward to the next instalments. Hi, this video was shot in early June 2023. It wasn’t particularly crowed as the school holidays don’t start until the end of June. We had absolutely fantastic weather but in this area of Scotland you can get 4 seasons in one day, it’s just down to luck. Thanks for commenting and subscribing to our channel. We hope you enjoy your trip to Scotland. We have plans to go to Austria someday in our motorhome as it is a beautiful country also. Irvine & Karen.

Great video but you need to wear a body worn Mic when out and about to hear you better.
