I turned off the auto wipers in the settings, but they still operated while driving (one time only) through the car wash. They worked one rainy day after that, and won't work auto-Rain-sensor anymore. Went into settings several times, to reset on, then reset off, each time was unsuccessful. I really enjoyed that feature, but I'm stuck with the original manual on/off wipers.

i think that is the worst option ever made by lincoln only works on high no matter how much rain on any setting

I was driving and the wipers came on for no reason and would not turn off. I had it serviced and spent $500 to have the sensors replaced. A week later they came on again and would not go off. Serviced again. Amonth later guess what! They came on and would not go off. After an $800 service (they replaced something on the steering wheel) they do not know what else to do. When it rained today I was afraid to turn the wipers on for fear they wouldn' t turn off.
