- Due to a few viewer requests, I decided to purchase a lot of 20 digicams (point and shoot digital cameras) and do an unboxing video for them. Paid $100 for the lot and received 20 untested cameras in various working conditions. All made between the early 2000's thru 2017. Join me on the experience as we go through the cameras below.

Always fun watching these old camera unboxings. Great job. Concerning the camera with the fibre on the sensor. I bought an old Canon SX 220HS that was badly contaminated with dust. There was a large glob of something right in the center of the image, making it mostly unusable. It was also surrounded by several other smaller ones sprinkled around. I tried everything you mentioned but no luck. Finally, in a nothing to lose situation, I tried my air compressor set to around 75psi and a narrow nozzle. I extended the lens barrel to maximum zoom, then blasted air into all the segment seams and around the base of the lens assembly. It worked! Although there remained a few smaller spots, for the most part it's clear now and the smaller spots are hardly noticeable.
Nice! I have heard of such things but haven't tried it myself. Inventive way to get a non-working camera useable again! Thanks for watching

I enjoy all of your camera lot unboxing videos. Mixed lots or just digicams. All of them are nice entertainment! And that red Nikon that was faulty was a very cool color.

Nice !!! I had and still have the Canon Powershot 480 in "good working condition" resting in my shelf . I would like you to talk about my first digital camera, the samsung digimax 130 . I remember it was very low resolution . Greetings from Chile and keep up your work, your videos are very entertaining .

My first digital camera was an Olympus Camedia 1.3M pixel camera that uses SmartMedia cards. It still works fine.

Little suggestion, maybe have a SD to CF card adapter lying around for when a camera that only takes CF cards shows up and there's no available cards!
That way one can always have a way of testing it up since SDs are plentiful

I really like old digicams. They’re really neat and get pretty good pics still.
I just want to say Kevin's prices are so reasonable especially considering he almost always factors in a memory card and charger. AND watching this 2 months after it came out - June 10 2023 - so many of these cameras are selling for twice as much on Ebay currently.... A bubble? I hope so.

I really love to watch these videos. I wonder how you do to keep all these different types of batterie charged? Do you got a somehow universal charger that can charge nearly any type of batterie or do you really have around 30 chargers?
The Nikon Coolpix 2000 was my first digital camera, I still own it today. I remember at the time reading the reviews. Back then the reviews were categorised in megapixel. And the Coolpix 2000 was so good with their 2mpx, that they also took it to the pool of the 3mpx cameras. :) Ah, the good old times. :)
Thanks! I don't use many universal chargers, but I do have around 100-125 chargers+400-600 batteries for the most frequently seen cameras that I get. Good ol' Coolpix 2000! Appreciate your watchin'

Hey just a little tip add a bunch of girly stickers to the cameras and attach colorful beads as strap before selling them, you can ask for a little bit more if you do that apparently
I have definitely sold some cameras with stickers already on them, but never thought about it potentially adding to the selling price, interesting idea
Its so cool what u do. I have bought and resold on ebay and i find, only ebay makes money. Ex. I paid 123 for a camera and resold for 165. After fees i think i made 13 bucks

Yep, it appears that way for sure. Lots of the X100 line actually have just ballooned price wise in the last 2-3 years.
I managed to find an micro SD card adapter that converts a micro SD into an XD card.
That's great! As long as I've paired the adapters with an older micro SD card under 512mb I have found some success using them as well, but often have to go through quite a few different small sized micro SD's to find 1 that works.
Where do you get those? XD cards are like $100 right now. No way Im paying that
