I did a wedding with 2 of these cameras, one with kit lens and other with 50/1.8. Mind blowing sharp and colorful pictures. No one believed that I used this camera. I would definitely recommend it without any doubt.

Thank you for your review, it’s nice to get a expert to talk openly about out what is basically an entry level camera for most people with great examples of photos (missing from other reviewers) and also an upsell product to move onto plus reasons behind. Was looking at this as a 2nd hand camera and wanted to know how good as most other reviewers don’t really show photos or discuss them saying photos weren’t that great.

HELLO, i have this old digital KingCom DS-5060S it was my families first ever camera, and i was hoping if you could help me fix it by giving me some pointers Its old so i put the new batteries and the place where the batteries are supposed to be it was really clean and it wasnt what i expected, but i still push the bottom thingy with a flathead screwdriver, and when i put the batteries and started it on it didnt do nothing, so i press it again and still nothing but i notice a faint small noise inside the camera and idk what it could be

Good video. I have the same camera, and have it as my casual, and long distance shooter. One side note, I took this camera to a Depeche Mode concert, which had strict camera rules, and was allowed to use it. Despite having no manual focus control, challenging lighting conditions, and being far from the stage, I got some great shots. Posted a vid with the images on my channel. This little red camera punches above its weight.

They are a drag on the market for the small screen and the cf card. No real problem, just put a good cheap lens on it like the 50 mm 1.8 or the 40mm pancake. Also. there are a ton of older canons out there, incluiding 40d and t2i as long as you can get them cheap. Another sleeper-- SL1 with kit lens for $150. Sell the kit lens for $40-50 and buy better glass.

I've read a few reviews on similar 44mp cameras. The video looks very o.k. for the low price. However, the photos from these cameras look like 1 or 2 megapixel cameras from around 2001 or 2002.

I bought this little beast when it first came out and still have it in mint condition since I rarely ever use it. The few photos that I have taken with it are absolutely spectacular!!

You only need a phone with a camera, using a digital camera is such a waste of time

Unfortunately extenders are not an option on that one.

mine wouldn't turn on and it was something with the battery holder. now i'm powering it from a power supply. lens slides out, goes back in, slides out and shows the lens error. any ideas? i've been trying to fix this for a few weeks lol

I fee like ive shot with everything except high-end. Canon, Nikon, Konica Minolta, Pentax, FujiFilm, Olympus. I genuinely loved Konica Minolta before they were taken by Sony. Pentax I absolutely loved their designs, the Optio line was great albeit noisy, and I loved that they marketed that they fit in a Altoids Tin, I had S4i and S6 and that is how I stored them.

I'm using Canon r100 paired with the meike ef-eos r adapter and canon efs 55-250mm stm lens, everything works fine until I change the aperture higher than f5.6, it won't take any picture and shows error "check connection between lens and mount".
