First of all, selling clothes online is a common idea. Secondly, she is not the one who makes the website. she is a fundraiser to make a common idea possible. She was a venture capital firm employee, she said she knew how venture capital works (it is obvious as she was an employee there). and she got a very common silicon valley type idea, "selling products online" and raise her funds from venture capital. then she hires web developers for her website, hires marketing experts for marketing her products, went to Singapore because there she can have government support for the start-up. So she combines all things to make it happen. The only thing she does is to bring out the money in exchange for a typical business idea. So if someone has a proper network in financial world, s/he can bring out money with a good business idea. While reading Jeff Bejos's career, I got the similar idea. Jeff Bejos was an wall street employee with no experience in internet. He smelled the dot com bubble at a good timing and start off with the investments of his connections. So guys if you want to be rich, it is important to have a good connection with venture capitalists or with an investment firms. And then you will try to find out a good idea. Skills are not important to be rich, good connections and managing capacity and convincing people to support your business is the main thing.

Now who say Kylie Jenner is youngest billionaire made by her inheritance And She is pure self made billionaire by hard work and dedication Not by fame and celebraty status ......... A comment by Indian
Sir, it is more complex issue than simply saying she swindled. From what I gather is investors got angry that company valuation did not support their initial price. But it was caused by severe lockdowns during pandemic. She really cannot control that and had to pay vendors still. A very tough situation. She took a massive pay cut when they laid off people too. She did not get golden parachute either.
After Kiran Shaw, it took this long for a second Indian woman to become this successful in business. Congrats to her and I wish her success but I don't see women doing it more often, not just in India but in entire world. Sad.

The term "self-made" is over-used. There is no way you will become successful, let alone build a billion dollar business without help from bunch or other people and organizations. Only people believe in there terms are the ones who never had any experience of building and running a business.
She was working as an investment analyst for Sequoia capital in India when she decided to start this website. Sequoia is one of the world's biggest investement firms. They manage hundreds of billions if not trillions of dollars worth of assets. She is also clearly from an upper middle class or higher family background. I don't begrudge her her success. Many of her peers will never be worth more than what their parents leave for them. Still, it is important to keep in mind that success begets success. Where you begin determines where you end up. If we want a society with more equality, not less, we have to provide everybody with equal opportunity to begin with.

Skills are not important to be rich, good connections and managing capacity and convincing people to support your business is the main thing.
this is painful because it's the truth T.T I spent many years coding & learning but still needed a mba just to get vc & getting an mba when you're just starting has lots of downsides bcs then they get to have almost the equal share as u do while doing almost nothing because when you're starting tech project, you likely need more tech people not the business ones T.T....
First of all, she is not India's first female unicorn founder.
And, she is not the founder, she is a co-founder.
There is a difference between being a sole founder and being a co-founder.
I'm not trying to hate against her, i'm just listing facts, and i'm proud of her for achieving all her success.
It is not easy to have a company reach a valuation of $970 million.
Dhruv Kapur? That dude is cool. Two months ago shoot add for them. Great ppl.
Bose always greatness
It's very difficult to find a chic who is smart and beautiful. Very proud of her achievement.
Wow lady! Appreciate it. Many woman donot know how to even start and grow their business. And what seed funding required and how to make their business going. But its amazing
Good for her awesome stuff best wishes to the company
Now the company has already filed for liquidation a few months ago
I’m still confused on the company isn’t it like amazon ?
Ankiti Bose. Look, Boss is her last name. Awesome lady!! Zilingo is famous too in my country. Great CEO.
Yes Mrs Jane is legit and her method works like magic I keep on earning every single week with her new strategy
I think I'm blessed because if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as expert Mrs Jane
I think she is the best broker I ever seen
Thanks for introducing me to Mrs Jane
My first investment with Mrs Jane gave me profit of over $24,000 us dollars and ever since then she has never failed to deliver and I can even say she's the most sincere broker I have known
Yes I' m also a living testimony of expert Mrs Jane
This is totally off topic lol but I been to chatuchak, the most incredible thing about it is, you can't finish going to all the shops in one day !!! It's huge and the food is incredible.
Good. But ecommerce is not a startup idea...come up with innovative ideas.
"Ecommerce" is just a name humans created to label the current state of capitalism. How you adapt on the platform we call the internet is your way of expressing "innovative ideas". She wouldnt make it on the market if she wasnt bringing something new to the table.
@Arnab Chakraborty why?
So she's already near to becoming a unicorn...all the best to Ankita bose...🙏🇮🇳
Based in South east Asia, sell to South east asia. nothing to do with india
Whats the difference from the other clothing products?
Thanks god I initially thought this is another video about Mia Khalifa.
I thought the same!😂😂😂
Did she hit 1 billion too?
Pervert. 🤮
Wow.. Inspiring proud female entrepreneur
Great job ankiti, yes we should bring awarness in india to let women fulfill their dreams, dream to be better.
She’s so pretty. You go girl 💪🏽!!!
Saludos desde Mexico 🇲🇽 ❤️👋🏽
This era should be called the age of women power. :)
It sure is!
Let's all share and make her famouse to let the world know what a self made billioner is
May be she was at right place at the right time... investment analyst at Sequoia capital...and going to Bangkok, neighbors... although she is doing a great job representing India and especially women in tech and entrepreneurship.
great excuse. keep it up.
Surprisingly this is the first time I've heard of it
I have never ever heard of this company. It's definitely not like flipkart.
and now she’s unceremoniously kicked out from the company she started… too bad she didn’t retain so much ownership of her own company so she got booted out that easily😔😔😔
Now who say Kylie Jenner is youngest billionaire made by her inheritance
And
She is pure self made billionaire by hard work and dedication
Not by fame and celebraty status
......... A comment by Indian
There’s a big difference between personal net worth & company valuation.
You can't be what you can't see. So true 💯
This aged well 😂
Why? What happened?
At 1:15 , had that laptop been with Huawei logo, would CNBC put the shot on? Just wondering!!
What is this lady who cooked up books doing now - selling popcorns ?
In the times of Kylie Jenner the world needed her so much.
There is no self made Billionaires; one must have a lot of help🤔🤔🎯
@@shrisub881...this societal structure wouldn't have existed without those jobs.
But wait in 2:56 the women on the add screen is Indonesian Actress 'Pervita Piers' ☺
She has been accused of swindling money from her company Zilingo
Not a role model anymore
Sir, it is more complex issue than simply saying she swindled. From what I gather is investors got angry that company valuation did not support their initial price. But it was caused by severe lockdowns during pandemic. She really cannot control that and had to pay vendors still. A very tough situation. She took a massive pay cut when they laid off people too. She did not get golden parachute either.
She looks very mature for her age. I think she has a good support behind her.
After Kiran Shaw, it took this long for a second Indian woman to become this successful in business.
Congrats to her and I wish her success but I don't see women doing it more often, not just in India but in entire world.
Sad.
Abhishek Dev do u know there r 89 women billionares in the world and 51 of them are chinese. Chinese women make 57% of the total number of the self made billionaire in the world. Funny, how our media and people bash and insults china everytime they get a chance and yet they’re 100 times ahead of us in every single thing
@@avdeshalvaraz7721 what????? 😨😲😮
@@avdeshalvaraz7721 you are correct. 😲😲😲😲😲😨😨😨😨😨
@@avdeshalvaraz7721 India also has potential but India should encourage women to work and support entrepreneurs
Kiran P yeah but in rural areas women can’t go to work. It is considered shameful to the family if a woman goes to work. But in extreme backward areas women work as labours in very harsh conditions which is very shameful to our country.
How much do the merchants get?
"Unicorn" mafia! Stupidity has no end...
Unicorn is a label for those startups which are worth more than $1 billion.
thelowdown.momentum.asia/what-is-this-zilingo/
One of the shortest CNBC international video seems to be an Ad for promoting Zilingo..clearly someone’s using their influence to advertise on CNBC.
Also, the “entrepreneur’s” startup is based in Singapore...so what’s the ease of doing business in India has anything to do with it!!...Oh Yes VIEWS!!!!
I actually thought that she was a unicorn founder like me☹
Great work.... Inspiration for youth #aplife
What bothers me is they specifically ignored they guy(s) involved, and went straight to the woman. Why not interview them as well, or instead?
@PopnLock Popin she is a co-founder. there is a guy called Dhruv Kapoor who also co founded the company
This is so encouraging! ✊🏽
WHAT A JOIKE
Beauty with brain ! I swear ! She's soo pretty
