I was tempted to coyote swap, but after seeing this it motivates me to just build my 4v.
If we were starting from scratch, we’d probably have gone coyote, but there is little to gain this far into our 4v motor. Plus a lot of internal parts are forged coyote parts anyway.
As a 4V mod motor owner, this hurts my heart.
This engine lived a good life nearly 4 years under 800+ hp and 700+tq race conditions. Over 20 wins plus 4 podiums over the last two years. But yes, sad to see it go. Stay tuned because we have a backup teksid block. We are documenting the new and improved engine spec, ok more power! But we expect the same reliability. We will continue with the mod block. Remember coyote crank, forged H rods and pistons. Might even be some thermal coatings involved. And while not coyote third gen heads, we have terminator heads which besides the FR500 are OUTSTANDING, but we add a little forced induction anyway. Thanks for watching. And if you have any question, please hit us up.
