Chicken and mushroom does have mushroom pieces, the sauce is just soy. It's my favourite and makes a lovely (but messy) sandwich.
My favourite pot noodle is beef and tomato but my overall favourite is the Indomie nasi goreng noodles
when I was at high school in the 90s the nearby shop used to sell pot noodles and would put boiling water in for you and provide a plastic fork 😄 oh the memories.
The corner shop down the road from my high school did that.
I went down memory lane with my husband talking about exactly that!! 😂
I used to get £2 a day for my lunch money and would spend 90p on a pot noodle and £1.10 on 10 Lambert and Butler 😂😂. Times have thankfully changed 🙈😂
I used to get £1 & spent 75p on 10 embassy filter & some chocolate.stole school dinners or cold meat pies etc from local shop.good old early 80's.even stole porno's & books from the local newsagents.not bad for a 12 year old.
The most important thing about Pot Noodle is it needs a really good mix to get all the powder dissolved. Always gotta put all the sachet in for me. I like to put a bit extra water as I drink it at the end 😋
Great video! I decided to watch this as I waited for my pot noodle to “cook” lmao
We have spare rib, Thai green curry, loads of other flavours in the PN range…but my personal favourite is the BBB..great channel, keep up the great work folks.
A year late message but I loved the Sausage Casserole one they did a few years back and still to this day I can't find another one of them haha.
And over here they are usually 2 for £1 in the major supermarkets.
The chicken and mushroom has a soya sauce packet, and the curry has a mango chutney. We also have a sweet and sour version.
This is making me hungry. I've just put the kettle on to make a chicken and mushroom noodle mug shot. Mug shots are a similar concept to the pot noodle, but they comes in a packet. You empty it into a mug, add hot water and leave it to work it's magic for a few minutes. Another quick and easy work lunch.
My fave flavour of Pot Noodle is Chicken & Mushroom. The packet is soy sauce but there isn't enough for me so always add more! Love it.
Noodle are just Noodles. It's the Sauce that makes the difference. I have 3 Pot Noodle Pots washed out and make my own. In the UK you can buy the Pot Noodles without the Pot, you could use your prefered Noodles. My favourite is, I buy the ready cooked Peri Peri chicken slices. Once the Noodles are ready, add the chicken then a small amount of Peri Peri sauce. Mix and away you go. I admit, I sometimes butter a slice of Bread, put a small amount of Noodles onto the Bread, fold it and it's a Noodle Sandwich.
We get the ones like a brick that you cook in a saucepan too, but in the uk we call them lost the pot. There is also a brand called supernoodles which is done in the pan.
I very rarely get one but when the mood hits it's got to be the chicken and mushroom. I'm also a bit weird though as I like it with bread and ... Ahem...dare I say it, pot noodle sandwich anyone. 😅
Watching from Scotland while eating my chicken and mushroom pot noodle 🏴 nice video guys glad you liked them
add more peas and sweet corn to freshen it up,i do when i have two together with fresh boiled chicken chunks with it lol
Most, if not all of the Pot Noodle flavours available in the U.K. (I am only referring to the Pot Noodle brand) are actually vegetarian. Which is quite fortunate for me as I would otherwise not have tasted them. Though they are something that I rarely have, I would say that the Chicken and Mushroom along with the Korma flavours, are probably my favourite…though the Pulled Pork is rather good too. They cost around £1 each for the standard size and £1.20 for the king size, with all the shelf stable brands being of a similar (maybe a little less) price. There are also a couple of brands that are from the fridge and are stacked with lots of fresh veg and are fresh noodles, so you cook them either in the microwave or on the hob (stovetop)…they are also nearly £4 in price
Still can't belive what you pay for these but when l was a poor student l lived on pot noodles. Along with baked beans on toast or a baked potato. If the parents visited and brought a food parcel, the wok would come out fried some chicken. Prepared the pot noodles and put them in to the chicken, we knew luxury in those days.
Pot noodle are famous for having outrageous adverts 3 of which were banned. I think you guys will find the pot noodle horn advert funny it's on UA-cam
When on offer Pot Noodle used be 50p. They are mostly round 60p now. Rrp is around £1. Be crazy pay $5 🤯
Chicken and mushroom is the most popular. Then the bombay bad boy. The curry is popular as is the beef and tomato
Bombay bad boy is actually great as when I get the cheaper ones I have to add extra spice too it, with Bombay bad boy I don’t have to do that! Also I think you’d like the Tomato And Beef one, and it’s very tasty but won’t knock your socks off with spices either
We have Cup o' Noodle brand noodles. We also have Mr. Noodle which is my favourite since it doesn't have the veg in it. LOL The square packets I just boil water in the kettle, put the noodles and seasoning into a bowl and pour in enough boiled water to make it 95 % noodles and 5% broth. LOL I will add stuff like green onion, a bit of kimchi and other things to it too sometimes. Some people add a slice of Kraft Singles (American cheese slices to you) to their noodles but I prefer not to do that.
The beef & Tomato and Sweet/sour are good with strong flavours like the chicken & mushroom. I lived on these in my college day's 🤣
Bombay bad boy my ultimate favorite, then beef and tomato, sticky rib in fairness I like all of them . If Bombay too spicy add some ketchup to reduce fire
I used to eat them a lot in my teen years but very rarely nowadays. My faves are the chicken & mushroom (I hate mushrooms.... but then again hardly any in there haha) and the sweet & sour one. Also the chow mein one is nice too. I would add extra water in mine so you can drink the last bit haha
Do you have just those ones to try at the mo or do you have others already?
Hi Guys, I love Beef and Tomato Pot Noodle with Beef Monster Munch xx
buttered bread dipped in or pot noodle sandwich
When you try the next ones, you might like to mix it up, by using the Hot Fire Chilli Sauce from the Bombay Bad Boy in the Curry Pot Noodle, and the Mango Chutney Sauce from the Curry in the Bombay Bad Boy.
That way the Curry one has more heat, and the Bombay Bad Boy has less heat and the additional sweetness to soften the burn.
The Chicken and Mushroom sachet is Soy Sauce.
I haven't had one in years, but my favourites when I was younger were the Chow Mein, and Sweet & Sour flavours but some of the newer flavours sound really good.
Laura, have you ever tried Mango Chutney? IMO, it doesn't really taste much like Mango, especially if you go for a brand that adds lots of spices. My personal favourite is Geeta's Premium Mango Chutney Medium, which has piece of whole spices (Garlic cloves, Nigella seeds etc), and a bit of spice, but not too firey.
We can also get noodles that come in packets and nissin cup noodles which i have never tried.
The bombay bad boy is the best pot noodle.
Sticky Rib is my favourite x
Definitely ate a fair few Pot Noodles whilst i was at University...is a staple for most students, i would think just about every household in the UK has a Pot Noodle in their cupboard!
Hope you've got some heartburn remedies for the Bombay Bad Boy aftermath 😂😂😂
What is also nice is pot noodle on chips
You should try Samyang Hot Chicken Flavour Cup Ramen makes the Bombay bay boy seem like mild :)
We buy 175 million pot noodles a year in the Uk so love them or hate them, I bet nearly everyone in the Uk has tried them! Ok so they may not be healthy, but everyone needs a guilty pleasure! Looking forward to the side by side tasting with the US versions…
Well american food and candy in the uk is quite expensive to us as u guys have british stuff for like 5 dollars it's crazy that amarica and Britain think of prices thw same way I think its becuse they found out about our american sections in supermarkets/grocery stores and our american candy shops prices
Pat nuudles 💀🤣
Pot noodle sandwiches 🥪
If you like the curry flavour but not quite as hot as the bad boy, then try adding a little sriracha sauce to the curry one, this totally transforms the flavour and beats the bad boy hands down in my opinion.
$5 each Yikes at home they generally retail for about £1.30 ish my trick for 'normal' ramen ie cheap, is to match the flavour of the seasoning pouch to a pack of one cup style soup, chicken with chicken soup, beef with any variety of beef soup believe me we must have about 8 ? variations of beef and soup normally for instant ramen I just mix everything up add water, if the noodles need to be simmered I make the soup then simmer in the soup doing this can increase the calorie count by 60% plus all with the same one cup of water how's that for economy? atb guys Bill
Need too try a pot noodle sandwich ❤
I will say as well, u need too let them soak for 10 -15 minutes. The time they say is just not good enough.
Great vid guys
I know this could offend some, but pot noodle with a nice thick sauce and slap it in some buttered bread like a noodle sandwich!!! 🤤 the perfect hangover food!!! I don’t know if you have lurpak butter but omg it’s heavily.
I like sweet and sour yum
Curry's my favourite. Im eating it as im watching lol
Oh nice! 😍
I prefer beef and tomato ones as tried as a kid and liked it
Chicken & mushroom is the best but I add more water and more soy sauce...trust me, so much better.
Pot Noodle also do a packet brick version which they cleverly call Lost The Pot Noodle 😆
They are awful. Even Pot Noodle had to admit they were awful and change the recipe. But they are still awful. Just a little sachet instead of loads of flavour powder like the pot version
These are affectionately known as a pot poodle. And taste like a wet poodle in a pot with added sauce. 😂
You should try english fish and chips its my favourite food but ofcource i live in britland😂 also súper noodles is way nicer than pot noodle.
In our country it's poor food too, with students etc...
You should try and get real Ramen noodles, were the broth has been simmering for 8-16 hours. Served with mushrooms, egg and I think it's cale
Yum, we would love that
Fill the water up to the line x
Others told us not to do that lol. They said it was better that way. No?
BEEF AND TOMATO is the one …. I’ll send u one if u like
I don't like all pot noodles i find some a bit bland so dont i get them very often, (although i haven't tried them all and ones like the curry and the chicken and mushroom i haven't had in years) but i do like the bombay bad boy the best and will have that occassionally,
I like ramen but can't stand pot noodles
are you two related
We are married
Is Laura starting to warm up to mango?? 😂
I thought USA had p noodles
Just in specialty shops. (Which we only see when we travel) We stopped at one and took our viewers along if you ever want to see. A single container of pot noodles was 5.00!
@@loveandjunkfood thanks for replying wow that’s expensive x
Chicken and Mushroom is my favourite flavour, it used to be the Chicken Chow Mein flavour but i think i may have ate too many at University and got sick of that flavour 😆
Are Pot Noodles Vegan?
Surprisingly, yes! Lots of Pot Noodle flavours are vegan, despite meat flavours. Pot Noodles are the perfect example of those foods that are surprisingly and accidentally vegan. Vegan flavours certified by PETA are:
Bombay Bad Boy
Brazilian BBQ Steak
Chinese Chow Mein
Piri Piri Chicken
Beef and Tomato
So, there you have it! Though if you’re looking for delicious vegan noodles that can be made in a flash, we recommend you look to our Spicy Szechuan Noodles. All standard Pot Noodles are suitable for vegetarians, including flavours like Chicken & Mushroom, Beef & Tomato and BBQ Pulled Pork. The 'meat' in Pot Noodles is actually soya pieces. However, 'Lost the Pot' Noodles and some 'Asian Street Style' Pot Noodles are NOT suitable for vegetarians as they contain meat.
Why are you eating that rubbish pot noodles it’s poor man’s pasta I live in UK I won’t eat it it’s tasteless rather buy Japanese ramen it has flavour at least
