Uploaded the day before that horrific attack on innocent, defenseless children in Southport and the needless, misinformation-fuelled violence that followed. Scary, really. Regardless, lovely work Starlife! And may those poor souls rest in eternal peace❤
You film some superb videos in some great locations. You are giving me some ideas of places to go. All I need is a hotel nearby for some long distance spotting. Thank you.
Thank you! I try to keep my videos fresh. Thankfully the UK still includes so much variety that it’s easy to make something different every time. Have fun! 😃👍🏻
Gotta love Southport. Lovely spotting session as always. Sorry to hear you had camcorder issues. It happened to me 5 years ago. My flask of tea leaked all over my camcorder which resulted in doing a second take for South Yorkshire. If you walked along Southport pier and on a clear day, you might be able to see Blackpool and glimpse of Blackpool Tower.
Nice video as always Ross! Keep up that amazing work! But also, Merseyrail always reminds me of the London Underground (District Line) As if it was more modern.
Excellent video Ross!! Some great stuff there shame about the camcorder situation! Somehow I dont think that 150 should be running with only 1 tail light working? Nice to see the 507s I didnt realise they were still running honestly! It still is weird seeing a 319 with an engine as well but atleast they arent all just scrapped!
Most of the information is on the detailed version of RealTime Trains. It gives you the headcode, actual time of departure, arrival or passing and sometimes even the unit number.
The 769s are very interesting they have they have DC third rail, AC pantograph and diesel thrash. I personally don’t like the design of the 769s or the 319s but the Class 769 is very cool and interesting to me.
Thanks Harshan! These are Merseyrail metro trains but they have a suburban interior so I guess you could say it's a bit of both! They use the standard railway gauge so they are essentially the same as any other UK train.
Hi starlife, Great video as usual, I was just wondering since I recently got the same camera as you own, 1. If you use it freehand or with a tripod. and 2. If you use it freehand has do you keep it so still? when I used it freehand it was very shaky when I zoomed in
They freehand. As someone who also freehands, it takes a lot of practice and strengthening your arm muscles to maintain a camera still and to pan it smoothly. I've been doing so for half a decade, if that kind of timeframe helps you at all.
I use it freehand as British Trainspotting mentioned above. It takes A LOT of practice to get right. If you watch some of my 2019/2020 videos, It was certainly a learning curve for me too (Cheddington is probably the best example of this!) I highly encourage you to avoid using too much zoom, you can if you feel the need to but trust me when I say that viewers will forgive you for it! When I use the zoom, a comment from a viewer 2 years ago rings in my ears and that is simply: "No need to zoom far.. we saw it." British Trainspotting is absolutely right about the arm strength, it helps a lot but its something you need to be prepared for especially if your expecting a lot of trains e.g. West Coast South. I really hope this helps, the only other thing i mention is that I typically use both hands: one in the strap and the other holding the view finder for maximum stability.
@@StarlifeStudios Your videos are genuinely so smooth I'd otherwise have thought you used a tripod! Commendable skill. Do you ever find wind or extreme temperatures (cold or heat) make it more difficult for you to hold the camera steady? I do

Woah, it's changed a fair bit since I went, mostly the introduction of the 777s.
Amazing video and nice to see the 777s in full swing on merseyrail now. Well done
I don't like them 777s
How do you like the 777s, I miss the PEPs so much these days. 777s are plain, and just horrible.
I loathe them. The lights are too bright, the seats are uncomfortable and they are somewhat ugly in appearance.
It's just your guys opinions
Dang these trains videos are epic
Another brilliant video again 👏 and yesterday was my birthday, so it's nice to see another trainspotting video from you
happy birthday july brother i’m on 16th🔥
Thank you, hope you had a nice birthday
Excellent video my friends awesome

Very nice train looks new
Great videos keep up with this you are the best trainspotter 👍😊
I've seen different trainspotters and they don't look as good as you
Thanks for your kind comments, I really appreciate it! 😊
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I really do like the new Merseyrail Class 777s as they are so quiet. Very quiet trains.
Great video as always Ross! 👍
Thanks again ENC!
Those 777s are so sleek and nice 🙂

Very nice new trains
0:25 Urm how? Anyone else notice that and why isn’t the interlock function stopping the train before the emergency stop?
Great video! I got a question Starlife, at 3:30 how you do the information its really good!

Nice trains and a nice video! Metro trains on normal train services. How? Can they do long-distance services?

@@StarlifeStudios Ah ok! So there is also a lack of toilets, isn't it?
Nice video
Very nice video and is it just me or are the 507’s better than the new 777’s
507s in better condition especially with the doors
Yes, it is just you
Whyh! A nice job by the way
the timing could not have been worse 💀

You might want to escape Southport mate.
Just to let you know mate there's a guy screen recording your vids and posting them all over his tiktok as if they are his

@StarlifeStudios you are very much welcome starlife, I myself have reported his videos but to no avail, let's hope his account is eventually deleted👍
Aha! Finally know what you look like 😃
The timing of this video is questionable
To me this video isn't really special like your other videos because I see these too many times to count
