Sounds great! Yes, I'd call it a bar too. Usually a Crisp has a crunchy topping of flour l, oats or both with butter, sugar, nuts, cinnamon and whatever. But whatever it is called, that looked good! What a nice welcome home for her!
You're the sweetest guy ever, baking AND flowers, Melissa is a lucky girl. You're a lucky guy too, hard to find someone who can work all day and can all night!
Joe you are the man. Baking for your honey, flowers, and a card. No wonder why Melissa hangs on to you. LOL. Glad she made it back home safe and sound. That really does look good. Gonna have to give it a try. Thanks for the video. Enjoy....
Joe I don’t know if anyone ever told you but your measuring glass cup is for liquids. You have to use measuring cups for solids to be exact! I love the flowers! Your so sweet!
Yay! I didn’t have a recipe for bars so I will definitely try them. They look very yummy. Melissa, we could all tell that Joe and Chunky missed you very much! So sweet with the bars, cleaning the house, the card and flowers! I hope that Melissa had a wonderful trip visiting her family and the drive was fairly easy. If she takes 35 North through Iowa I could give her my phone # somehow if she were ever to have car or weather problems, I’m just 15 minutes west of I-35. My daughter says she got snow in Mn yesterday. We have been lucky so far. Well glad you are home safe and sound. TC. Vicki from Iowa 🦋🍁
I know I will like it. I'm from Minnesota and grew up eating Rhubarb. I make pie's and my sister makes the crisp. I will try your recipe. Welcome home Melissa and Chunky.
Looks very good. Welcome back home Melissa. Glad you had a safe trip. I think Joe missed you lots. My honey was gone for 20 days in Sept . and I was a one lost puppy. Take care both of you wonderful people.

I didn't know you were close to time to come back home! Thought you had just gone down there!! Thankful for your safe trip! I'm sure little joni was so lonesome, glad she had joe at night!! There was a rescue team rescued a pit bull that had been abandoned at a mcdonald's in tulsa,ok. He had been there several days,& would carry his toy baby around & lay down back aways in back of mcds & ihop. He was so scared,& thin! This team went about 4:00am caught him, took to veterinarian for 2wks,named him mac! It was in Sept or oct. Someone adopted him 2-3mo later around hibbings(? spelling),minn. Now the ppl in tulsa hasn't been able to receive any communication from them,so very worried about mac!! He was such a sweetheart! His Christmas pictures were adorable! His countenance looked so different, happy!
Thank you, so much, for making this!:) Rhubarb really is my favorite pie filling... The VA STILL has us on lock down, at Trinka Davis Veteran's Village, in Carrollton, GA. Yum, yum, yum! Semper Fidelis
I been looking high and low for this video. Soooooo good. Love how you keep an eye on your wife and prepared the home and such a tasty dessert. My family loves it.
Hiya Melissa! What ya got cooking or canning?! Did you have a nice visit with your family? I hope so. We did get some snow the other day but not very much. It’s been cold though, yet tomorrow it’s suppose to be 70 here in Iowa! Crazy. Oh yeah, I was gonna ask if Joe got the bunny area ready in the chicken coop for the bunny? Do you think you two will get snowmobiles this winter? Do you two ride? Well, I enjoy hearing from you and what’s been happening at the farm! TC 🦋🍁Vicki from Iowa
Are the canning shelves downstairs getting full? Did you come up with lots of tomatoes with your canning? I would love to see it all! TC. Vicki in IA 🦋🍁
I never even knew you had this channel? Heard you mention it on either Joe and Zack or Northern Exposure.. Listen can you sell me some energy and motivation!!! LOL
Hiya Melissa! It’s driving me crazy that those potatoes in Joes workshed are rolling all over the place! Joe and the dogs just step over them and don’t bother to pick them up! It is funny I know, but save the potatoes 🥔! TC Vicki from Iowa 🦋🍁
