@TheUltimateHandymanKyle Thanks for the feedback. You may want to make a video about metal studs and very heavy objects. I learned as a maintenance tech that you can drill through a metal stud and then use a toggler there.
@@RDM-346 Yes I should. I had a job hanging huge Elk Head mounts on the walls of the Kuiu Hunting gear store and had some issues with screws stripping out of the metal studs . I end up using something like the toggle. That's the only thing that would work to hang these heads to the wall
Haven’t seen this exact type of anchor! Thank you! I’m getting some today to mount my racks in our newly finished basement bathroom. I will report back.
It would need to be mounted on the studs and the towel bar would break before the screws and brackets came out. You would need to get a bar that doubled as a grab bar.
But then that little screw is responsible for all the weight, right? I’m so done with these hidden screws 😢. It’s like a part time job keeping these on the wall! 😭
I have never seen these before, today struggled with standard toggle bolts to install a wall mounted storage in apt Reno. You should of left a link for them but should be easy to find.
@@TheUltimateHandymanKyle yeah but you are not these fly by night dyi’ers who watch UA-cam to install what seems to be simple for many but a disaster for others
I first used these about 30 years ago. They are great, but always check where your studs are before drilling a 1/2" hole. Good video!
Yes always check first. I should have included that information in the video.

Thanks
Thanks for this great tutorial! My rental’s towel rods have fallen out multiple times, this is a game changer :)
I’m glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching

They work good. It’s my go to anchor when you need something strong I’m sheet rock
What's the update?
Could you use this for hanging a decorative shelf too?
Definitely.
This was exactly what I needed - thank you! I hope you get a GoPro camera for Christmas to get both hands back in the shot 😊
That would be nice. I definitely need to up my camera game.
better solution then most of the youtube videos I have viewed but I do want to hang from the towel bar before it would give way and suggestions?

They sell them at Lowe’s
@@TheUltimateHandymanKyle Home hardware has them also. What a game changer.
Zip toggles are my preference.
They are the best sheet rock anchor.
I figured I had to find a way to mount to the studs??? no?
If your lucky you could mount it to 2 studs. Usually you can mount a towel bar to one and use these anchor for the other side.
Wrong NEVER. Complete the tightening process with a drill you will crush the drywall
I’ve never crushed the drywall.

Buy a tripod
I have one. Sometimes I don’t have it with me.
