Chef Evan Funke is a steward of Italian cooking traditions and culture, and at Mother Wolf, he pays tribute to la cucina Romana - a mosaic of ancient, pastoral, and urban culinary heritage. Mother Wolf honors Rome’s mythological origin story of Remus, Romulus, and the Lupa Capitolina. With Rome as the singular inspiration for Mother Wolf, Funke’s rich and soulful cooking echoes themes of shepherds, popes, farmers, and artisans with wafer-thin wood fired pizzas, hyper-seasonal antipasti, and the exceptional pastas for which Funke is renowned. Good job taking one for the team with the anchovies lol. The ox tail meat ball looked good! The pizza is to thin for me. lol Wolf Mother... that's all I see and hear when I see video's at this place. It's pretty cool looking and then they're playing classic hip hop lol
P.S. You have the same mics as me lol. You should just clip it to your shirt, still picks up the sound great.

Haha yeah we're mic twins, I remember! I sometimes do clip it on my shirt but I find it doesn't always work as well. Plus the restaurant was very loud so I wanted to try and drown it out as much as possible.

Thank you for your effort tasting the anchovies, I know its not fun! We ordered a pizza in a cafe in France many years ago that we thought was cheese because it was just labelled "Pizza" - Turns out it was fish pizza with anchovie paste - it was rather a shock, to say the least, lol.
I look forward to visiting Fontainbleau, won't be able to afford most of the food but it looks nice!

It was a great meal and definitely worth checking out Fontainebleau. There is a food hall that is still overpriced but a bit more affordable. If you have status, they will give you some food credits. And they are currently matching if you have status anywhere else.

@@Spot_Wright so I’m at KOMODO at Fontainebleau. The food is just beyond amazing. Wow! Surf and turf fried rice was best I ever had. Glad you’re coming back this year. 😃

@@Spot_Wright staying at Encore. My go to, and I’m in Tower Suites. They treat me like a king there. In the future I’ll stay at Fontainebleau 👍🏻

We're thinking of booking August for my birthday but may push to September since we were just there and August gets so hot. What do you do for work that gives you all this travel time?

Underwhelmed and going in with low expectations of what I anticipate to be a more expensive resorts world.
You'll have to report back after your stay. From what I've seen, the rooms look nice! Keep an open mind. I'm sure you will end up enjoying it!
