"Supposed to be an image of scissors.... I don't know, It's a bit funny looking, don't you think?" LOLOL You crack me up how you went back to the image again and said good bye to it LOL. I love these pockets and just made a couple. TFS all of your wonderful ideas. ☺♥
I have watched many of your tutorials and love everything you do. So today in the grocery store I noticed myself looking at every box thinking oh that is a good box for a journal. I actually bought the giant box of cereal for the bag inside inside. OMG
The scissors started my day off with a good laugh - thank you for that.... the coffee filters are a great idea and beautifully presented - great tutorial....
This is very unique. Oh,..I recognize your Junk Journal. You are the FIRST video I ever watched about junk journals. I never even HEARD the word before. Thanks again. Barbara - Austin, TX USA
You were so hilarious today! On a roll! As a former teacher of 9 and 10 year olds, I have seen similar drawings and they never thought to try to tell me they were scissors...LOL Thanks not only for the laughs but also for this sweet idea which turned out so beautifully and I can see many of in my future
Haha kids are so funny!! Since making this video, I have learned from the comments that the 'scissor' image was in fact a kids drawing (their mum is a hairdresser) and the image went viral. And now they are using it as an ad in a hairdressing magazine!
Ohmygosh...truly needed this humor this morning!! 😂🤣😂 Those scissors look like something I put together with fruit, a few years ago, for my sister in law's bridal shower gag gift!!! LOL. Love the coffee filter ideas! You always seem to make my day!! Still laughing over here, in Central Illinois USA!! 🤣 Have a great day! Hugs ♡ ~Suzy ✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️
What a Great idea using the coffee filters. I love all your crafting. I have been down with Covid19 and have been watching your tutorials and not crafting until I get well. I have a lot to catch up on. You are wonderful and a great teacher. Growing up we did crafts with flour and water, the whites of eggs, vano starch to glue things together. Even finger painting with vano starch and food coloring. Thank you so much.
What a great and unexpected laugh!! I was watching on my way to work on the bus and giggled out loud! The coffee filters are a great idea too. I have a whole pack at home and have been wondering what I could do with them. Thanks Natasha!!
I love your tutorials and the speed you create something. We can certainly overthink every little thing to the point it’s obsessive! Thanks! Love your humor about the scissors ad and the Mickey Mouse ears!
I found it very interesting what you said about not being happy. I work with kids 6-10 years. I always have one or two, mostly girls who can put a lot of time in a project, it looks great and yet they are still not happy. I had one who always threw the stuff she made away. I literally ad to search the bin, take it out and put it on my desk or somewhere. That girl was surprised that I liked her stuff. I am not supposed to say this but sometimes I could throttle some parents......
Hahahaha! "I just want to show you something really funny." I've been working my way through your video catalogue. I appreciate all of your work and inspiration! 💛💛💛
OMGoodness! You made my morning! Not only were the coffee filter pockets adorable, but the scissors had me laughing so hard! Tyfs!! Hope you have a great day!!
Very cute, I liked your no comment about those scissors. Thank you for sharing and also for the words you shared in one of your vids, you are so generous.Truly an Angel, gracias.
This is a fun idea! The coffee filters are great for journal pockets. I always love your tags and embellishments. Thanks fo sharing the “scissors” image.. I had a good laugh over that odd advertisement. Makes you wonder some times about what they’re selling! LOL
A wonderful idea again you have brought us. Thanks. I agree about the scissor sketch…..looked like the work of a child?? Blessings on your day from Betty in Ohio. TFS
I think I want to round the corners. No... I don't want to round the corners. Yes - I want to round the corners... Just love listening to you create! 😍 You're an inspiration for my junk journal channel! @KitchenCounterCrafts
I just recently found your channel and I love it! Your voice and way of using what you’ve got to make something beautiful speaks to my heart. Thank you and keep up the good work! 💕
Such a wonderful idea! You are a great teacher and besides, I love listening to you talking, love your voice!! I'm going to have to run to Daiso and get some of these filters and give it a try! ❤️
I'm having so much fun making the coffee filter pouches that I don't even want to go to bed! I have 5 birthday cards to make for seniors in nursing homes, and I think they are going to love these! I plan to put in bookmarks, doilies and whatever else I can squeeze in that will make them smile. Thank you so much for sharing.
What a natural, for a pocket to decorate. We use that type, too. Indont have book pages, but I do save the security envelopes. I've been saving some other things for treasures, doilies, and other goodies, in a 12 x 12 tote. And a lot of dies that would work, to cut decorative pieces.
A fun little project! A do like using coffee filters in my work. You certainly made me laugh out loud with your “scissors” comments! TFS. Have a nice day. 😃😁
Thanks for another inspiring video! I love this project and the lessons you've shared. The commentary adds so much, including random stuff as with the wonky scissor drawing on the magazine page. Always an added bonus to get a peek inside your personal journal, so many pretty pages there. Keep creating! Keep adding beauty to our lives! :)
Thank you Natasha. I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial. I had such a good laugh about the scissor image & the "which-craft". I am now hiper inspired to start my 1st coffee filter pocket (I'll be using a "used up" filter bag that I sundried)
Hi Natasa. The first machine I ever bought in 1972 was an Elna. I still have it and use it for crafting. It's a workhorse. My newest machine for sewing clothes and quilts is also an Elna. Great machine. Love your videos
I love my Elna!!! I didn’t know anything sbout sewing machines when I bought it, I just chose the cheapest one, and I’m so happy that a got such a great machine!!! Wow you’ve had yours sice 1972 that is so great!!!!
You always make lovely projects lol those scissors I think I would keep the ad in a drawer for when I need a good laugh or happy mail it I’m still chuckling
You and Gi Kerr have helped me be more bold and carefree in what I do; I used to get hung up on the conundrum you mentioned...dithering over which was the "perfect" image or item to put there. You are so talented; thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much!! It can get overwhelming when we ponder each tiny detail, and I still find myself doing it, but I have to remind my self to "just do" :) Thanks for watching :)
I'm new to junk journaling, and trying to learn all that I can, this is the first video of you that I had seen and after the scissor humor, I subscribed before I had even finished watching, your great at junk journaling AND made me laugh, I'm all in, got to watch more!
Watched this vid while prepping green tomatoes for roasting & bottling 2mrw, & was inspired to scrabble through my scrap papers for 'pocket type' scraps. Well, those didn't materialize, but I HAVE found lots of pretty cards & ephemera for making tags, so that's the rest of the day sorted. I'm deliberately turning a blind eye to the scissors!
You crack me up! I love your sense of humor! I think we would be great friends if we lived closer together. Keep up the great work. I look forward to your next video.
I never thought ti use coffee filters like this. They made a loveky embellishmen. Especially the way you decorated then. TFS. I did. God bless and stay safe.
Once I sent a coffee filter to a penpal like a postcard and she had to pay more postage for it to achieve it because it's not allowed to use coffee filters als postcards lol, but I love creative journaling AND creative penpaling since ages and thought about how to embellish coffee filters and use them as ephemera for my journals and my penpal - now I have ideas, thanks a lot!
Natasha, Thank you so much for everything. I am inspired by your work, and your tutorials are so clear and well done that I can now feel confident, as a new junk journalist, to try my first project! Your scissors comment also demonstrated your sense of humor and gave me a good laugh. Yours, Jill
I love these little coffee filter beauties. The picture, well it made my day. Cannot believe it was in a magazine. "Witch" "little pretty" was it from LOL. Also, I now know to make sure my project doesn't look like Mickey Mouse ears. You crack me up. As always, thank you for sharing your talent with us.
