I absolutely love the little achievements that you make for yourself. Kill all of the tumors, keep the marines guarding the transport, etc... makes the missions a little more fun considering how many times you must have played them.
That first cinematic is my favourite in the entirety of Starcraft 2. I had waited for the protoss game since I played Wings of Liberty. It was nice to see it.
I know this was four years ago but it doesnt really still, the taldarim had almost the entirety of the artifact in their possession and could or easily gotten the last one from Marsara. Than reassembled the artifact themselves, leaves a plothole if they were loyal to Narud and Amon the whole time why did they wait so long to set their plans in the background in motion, example killing the xelnaga, that didnt happen until Amon or Narud gained the keystone sometime in Sc2 likely happening in Wings of Liberty or inbetween Wings and Heart of the swarm. Poor writing to say it was to wait for raynor to collect them and use the artifact against kerrigan.
@@CalebStearns maybe the writers just want the Terrans to get involved. Tal'Darim doing that means it's going to be PvZ and the other is Raynor vs Mengsk haha.
From derpy young Scout pilot, to Hierarch. How far Artanis has come. I'm proud of that boy. That day, the Zerg were handed their... eviction notice. And not a moment too soon. Damn squatters.

Finally, we're hereeeee :D Lotv is easily my all-time favorite, and just look at that intro cinematic tho, the pylon is so huge, gets me every time I watch it. ;D
The intro cinematic is incredibly badass and I love it. But I wonder, what was happening when the Archon died? I’ve never heard that they disappear into empty space. It was badass, but also unexplained.
Possibly a abilities they were considering for SC2 that didn't make it into the final, kinda like the multiple beams attack that the Hyperion uses at the end of Zero Hour in WoL, that no other BC uses, but were supposed to be a choice between that ability and the classical Yamato Canon.
I like how there's Starcraft 1 Queens in this mission, and they're just as annoying as the first game. But hey, at least they don't use spawn broodling
Given their proximity to the original Overmind, it does make sense the Aiur zerg would remain under Amon's control. As for this invasion, Zeratul definitely came too late to stop it. If Artanis called it off at this last minute, the protoss probably would have gotten so pissed they would have had an entire civil war over the decision, with Amon only making things worse.
This "En Taro Something" is getting ridiculous! Now nobody remembers mah boi Savassan. NEXT ON JAYBANQUET'S PLAYTHROUGH: Where in the world is Arty San Diego?
Why didn't Kerrigan retrieved her swarm from Aiur? I thought the story made it that she needed all her swarm to take on Amon? Why didn't Zeratul ask Kerrigan to take her swarm away just for the sake of strengthening the swarm. At the same time, maybe this could be used as ceasefire with the Protoss and maybe Zeratul will be able to convince Artanis to send his troops against Amon instead of this invasion.
@@inductivegrunt94 Couldn't she have easily taken them over? I thought feral zergs are easier to subdue and control than zergs who are already following a Queen. Edit: Then again, I see her just killing off feral zergs in her campaign so maybe it is harder to control feral zergs. Still, that is a huge brood, maybe she can still force some of the zerg to join her swarm once again... And if her goal is really to take down Amon, one more Ally, the Protoss, would be a great help.
@@mark9152 I actually think she couldn't, between the fact that Amon was influencing her before hots, and her rush to kill Mensk, then Amon, Amon probably gained control of the swarm on aiur
