I live in Dearborn Heights and have had some of the best Middle Eastern food, and this looks on par with it! Never stop doing what you love habibi
omg i live nearby, dearborn has the most delicious middle eastern food
Is it true they don’t have their airport? I was going to move there but found out they don’t even have an airport.
@@KM-gi3mc no, that’s not true. We have an airport in Romulus, about 15 minutes away.
@@CristinaHerrera-zl5jh ayyyyyye! Literally the food gives me life 😂 Al Shalal right down the street from the Tim hortons on the corner of telegraph and warren is really good! That’s my go-to!
@@brandonmiotke bro you gotta try shawarma co, it’s in garden city. best mf shawarmas i’ve ever had
If you don't have a food processor, here are some substitutes:
-Electric beater/stand mixer
-Potato ricer/hand masher
-Knife (just chop the chickpeas very finely)
-Grinder
-Rolling pin and plastic bag
note: he says dont use a blender because if you do it will come out like a puree and wont be solid, in this case what you want is very finely chopped chickpeas but not a puree
Dan Robinson, Thanks for the tips.
finally! proper instructions on how to keep the falafel together. mine steadily crumbled.🤦🏾♀️THANK YOU!!!!!✨
I’m from Iraq and I remember having the best falafel when we lived in Jaramana.
I am so going to make this sandwich! Keep it up 'The Golden Balance!
that ooooohhhaaa aaaah, when he opened the falafel sounded like his whole life depended on proving the falafel's texture.
Btw bro appreciate your shift from shorts to 3 mins vids which are an ideal time for me as i get all the details of the recipe without utilizing alot of my time.
Love from Pakistan.
Thanks so much for this. I've been using the frozen mixes but I can't wait to test your recipe!
Looks delicious, I'm going to make these tomorrow.
Yummy it looks so GOOD 😍😍...didn't know how to make falafel...UNTIL you've showed us. ..will definitely try soon 😊👍👍
Yaaaas falafel! AND it's a receipe from someone I trust! Shukran!
I've been craving falafel for a few days and now I'm definitely making some tomorrow.
The steam coming out of the falafel is a chef's kiss.
My mouth is watering! They look so perfect!!! My favourite kind of gyro to get so yummy!!
I've wanted to try falafel for years, but haven't had the chance... I've been hesitant to try and make my own without at least tasting it first... but this, this looks do-able, I think I'm just gonna have to take the chance... hopefully it'll get my kids stamp of approval & I'll have another (healthy) recipe to add to the repertoire. Thank you for sharing.
Goodluck!
Hi Katina, have you made them as yet?
middle eastern food like this just speaks to my soul... SO GOOD...
thank you for successfully making me ravenous just in time for lunch..
SunhanAllah I was craving these and you uploaded this video! 😍
looks delicious 😋 and easy, this is why I watch, Golden Balance makes it easy, so I can cook the recipes 😋😉👍
when i ate falafel in medina,it reminded me of a dish in our country called "piyaju" which is bit more crispy.LOVE FROM BANGLADESH
Omg !!! Congrats completing 1 million ✔️🥰
Falafel looks kinda hard to master making from scratch which is why I decide to buy a falafel mix from the store. Just add water to it in making the balls and fry should be fine. If I have the time, I will try to learn and make it from scratch using this recipe!
I love the longer form content
Congratulations for 1 million subscribers . MashaAllah
you deserve more 👏👏👏👏
looks good brother
Tried this and came out perfect!! Moist on the inside, crispy on the outside! I failed last time with canned chickpeas...
Can't complain. The Golden balance is always superb. Watching you from Manila Philippines.
immediately remembered ross from friends show ( no more flafl for you)😆 so good and it's the traditional meal in Egypt 💕

Yep I’m definitely subbing
I like the 40 spice mix with parsley. I don’t see the seasoning mix in California. Looked good 🌷💕
I was just going to ask if I can airfry😂 midway through video… going to make this in my airfryer
Se me hace la boca agua 🤤

I love your food very much all of them
my goodness that looks 🤤
Oh man this looks so good! I'm gonna give this a try next week, I've never made my own falafel. I always go to this Greek place and get gyros and falafel so it would be sweet to make my own... wish me luck so I don't fuck it up
Everything you make looks absolutely delicious! Now this?? I gotta try it! And it's awesome that you're handsome!
It looks so yummy 😋
My sister passed a year ago today so I'm watching you vids to feel better ♥️
I'm here early today to watch perfection 🥰
Ma shaa ALLAH so delicious.😇😇😇😍😍😍
I've put baking soda in my falafel mixture as well to give it a crispier shell when it fries. What are your thoughts on that?
Also, what should I do if my falafel comes out a little too dense?
yes absoloutely! baking soda makes a huge difference
If it comes out too dense I would recommend add a little more water gradually
I think it's too dense because of the way you're shaping it, go easy on the spoon and do not push hard on the falafel.
Use delphine's water
You should try it with Fava beans!! It's how we Egyptians do it, and it's personally my favorite way (I tried falafel with chickpeas before)
do they mix favas with chickpeas? or only favas beans alone?
@@jaimealvarado22 only Fava beans, usually, but you could also mix it with chickpeas (I never ate it mixed but I heard of this way)
but if you do plan on using Fava beans, I would recommend you to use only these
oh and I realized you might not know what Fava beans are since it's not the english name, it's just broad beans
I'm addition to that the falafel ta3miya with foul is amazing
@@RexGalilae absolutely, some foul with some Arabic flatbread and ta'amiya is amazing
you can also do a sandwhich, put some salad, falafel and tahina and it also tastes amazing
@@pletskoo514
Yep, it's one of my favourite sandwiches
i’ve got to try this
Looks healthy and delicious
that cornstarch do be glowing
من سوريا لك كل المحبة ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍🇸🇾🇸🇾
I add an egg too. Makes them so moist.
Falafel with a lot of Tahini sauce and red sauce is my guilty pleasure
Lmaoooo this guy is authentic cuz he hit you with the “shatta” and “tarator” W guy
I just made this on saturday and it was _yummy._ Even my dad liked it and he's not that adventurous with food.
My family prefers ours with more greens, add parsley and green onions to the mix, no white onion, and you need more spices! marjoram and other herbs, not sure of all the names in English lol. Mix can be a little less wet and it will still come out fluffy and more crispy! That's the Jordanian way 😉
Tahini sauce is similar, and try adding fresh mint leaves to the sandwich! Other toppings are cucumber and tomato slices or Mediterranean salad, I think lettuce waters it down too much though... My ideal sandwich is tahini sauce, cucumber and tomato thin slices plus salt, red chili paste, pickles and mint... To die for
I'm assuming it's the same as the Palestinian way because our falafel is also green because we add alot of coriander.
ياخي انت فعلا ذهب
YAAAAAASSSSSS
AND AS ALWAYS BISMILLAH❤️❤️
No sesame seeds?
perfect ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I looooooooooooooovvvvveee FALAFEL
One hot handsome chef 😂
Bro when the chickpeas got dumped into the processor it sounded like Lego games
Everything thing looked great but we need the classic bottled 'SHATTA' ngl it smacks
Best falafel in Australia is from BJ’s in auburn, dunno if this will compete, but we’ll see.
Him: *at the same time it holds everything nice and together*
The piece that fell: 💀
I love you Bro ❤️
Parsley goes extremely well as also
This international store near me sells falafel mix and all you do is add water, wait 30 minutes then fry them. They are 10/10. I still want to make them from scratch one day but that falafel mix allows me to have then whenever I want with authentic taste.
you can freeze the homemade mixture if you make a large batch
💜
As a Lebanese guy, I will give you the seal of approval
Where is your restaurant? 😊🙏
Can you make it with fava beans like we do in Egypt
Hello, fellow Egyptian!
Falafel sandwiches are delicious
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Man this dude just makes brilliant content 🚀🚀🚀
Literally made me fall in love with cooking even more
Top tier cook on yt no doubt
i love falafel ufffff
I live in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 and i usually eat this at restaurants
Add green onion to it makes falafel more greener
كل الحب من سوريا
Salaam where can I get the pickles from?
Can I use parsley though? I'm one of those poor unfortunate souls that tastes soap whenever I try cilantro lol
I've usually only ever seen it with tons of parsley, I'm guessing the Palestinian version.
I just made your hot honey siriacha salmon and it was fantastic!!
In egypt we use fava beans to make our falafel and most resturants use their hands and not special tools or spoons lol.
the Egyptian one is insane too
can you airfry them
have you ever tried to remove the core of the garlic to see if you still get heartburn?
I'm definitely a meatatarian, but falafel is the only vegan food that not only rivals, but downright beats every meaty food out there. God I love that stuff.
