If you don't have a food processor, here are some substitutes:
    -Electric beater/stand mixer
    -Potato ricer/hand masher
-Knife (just chop the chickpeas very finely)
    -Grinder
    -Rolling pin and plastic bag
note: he says dont use a blender because if you do it will come out like a puree and wont be solid, in this case what you want is very finely chopped chickpeas but not a puree

I've wanted to try falafel for years, but haven't had the chance... I've been hesitant to try and make my own without at least tasting it first... but this, this looks do-able, I think I'm just gonna have to take the chance... hopefully it'll get my kids stamp of approval & I'll have another (healthy) recipe to add to the repertoire. Thank you for sharing.

My family prefers ours with more greens, add parsley and green onions to the mix, no white onion, and you need more spices! marjoram and other herbs, not sure of all the names in English lol. Mix can be a little less wet and it will still come out fluffy and more crispy! That's the Jordanian way 😉

Tahini sauce is similar, and try adding fresh mint leaves to the sandwich!
