Mine is 1955 and I don't think it qualifies as an older home. 😂😂😂
That's modern to us. Older home in UK is 400 to 500 years old.

Not old at all. We recently sold our house & it was all but 100 yrs old! lol
LIke the previous comment, I too laughed at the "older home" remark. My home was built in about 1910, cut in half and moved to its current location in the early 1950's.

I no longer eat clam chowder (I’m dairy free) but when I made it years ago I used bacon…diced throw in pot and cook the onions and celery in the rendering. Then basically as you did but adding clams, juice and water for the potatoes to cook in…Once all that was cooked I added the cream and milk. Only one pot needed
