- With recently moving, I'm still setting up the home. Come run errands with me. I'm on the hunt for curtains, and I also recently broke my butter dish, so I'm looking for a new one. Plus a couple of products I recently bought at Sam's Club are now on sale, so I'm running in to grab those. When we return home I'm sharing tonight's dinner, a meal we had on St. Patrick's Day, and together, we're going to make a yummy Thai dinner. I've bought all my curtains at Amazon lately.
Amazon for ease of returns. And may I suggest doing 2 or more panels on each window for a more luxurious look? I understand you're probably on a budget, but it would look really nice. Good luck!

I have ordered curtains from IKEA and have never had an issue…maybe try getting something from them.

I have similar curtains. They were great for blocking out light and keeping the house warm but I've since taken them down and switched to sheer because they did eventually remind me of tarps 🤣🤣

Curtains are really marked down on Amazon in Dec. We got blackout ones for about 20%off then.
I got my butter dish from Amazon and it’s enamelware. I love it.
What about putting the blind box on door very easy to install and you can open and close. Just a thought for you.❤
All this moving can be challenging. I feel the pain. After watching a vlog on your pantry, it made me rearrange mine. It looks so much better. Now for the dehydrated thrive cans; under the bed we go😊

Kimmy, you give me hope!! We are down to 12 days for the big move. I am trying to get all the closets and cabinets cleaned out and ready to go. I love how you say you need to “live in it”. I need to keep telling myself that. I want it all to work from the beginning, but I know it may not. “Give yourself some grace” will be my motto. ❤❤❤
You've got this!! We will be here almost two months and I still don't have my pantry where I want it, the bathrooms are not fully unpacked, the linen closet is half done, and the food storage room is now packed with boxes to be unpacked. It takes time. We put way to much preasure on ourselves. It will all come together.

Hi Kim, I have used those Butter chicken and other sauces by Patak....that I guess has very high portion of butter and oil...very rich on taste. Would be great if you could learn the basic butter masala gravy recipe and use with either chicken, tofu or even mushroom

Hi my dear. I just want to say love your video's. Your husband looks so much younger now that he cut his beard. My friend's nephew also has a beard (it's red. LOL) he's a young man 40 ish. He looks 80 when his beard is to long. It makes so much of a difference when it's trimmed. Keep the video's coming and letting us see the up dates to your new home. I found a "european butter dish" on Amazon that holds 1 to 4 sticks of butter. I love that thing so much I bought 4. 1 to use and 3 to put away as spares. Bought my Mom one, bought my Aunt one then she bought all of her girls one. They really are that nice. :-)

I totally get the curtain trouble! We are dealing with that too. We bought new windows. Nothing is working right for what I want. I have the front picture window covered with blinds that are too heavy to move. We are new to blinds so :/ Great video! Edited to add: I have a pantry room but also in the kitchen, I have a pantry closet like you. I love the shelf you have on the door! Where did you get that? I need something like that. My shelves are wooden and odd. Some are short some are long. I don't keep my everyday foods in it other than the cat food. I go to the pantry room to get my everyday foods, veggies, sauces, etc.

Ugh. I got so excited when you said the butter sauce was from Sam’s, so I checked our Sam’s and it wasn’t there. I’ve gotten the tikka masala from there, which is rare. It’s such a quick easy meal and we always have naan. Darn. Oh well. 😁

Rancho Market in Provo is best place to go to get veggies. Macey's prices are terrible these days. Sam's Club is also more expensive on the produce. Just an FYI we have had success with Rancho for years!

I have had horrible experience at “at home”. Sorry, but I just don’t shop there anymore. Take that for what you want. For me, I kept trying and found what you did, the quality was just awful. And I could honestly get better quality for better prices when things were on sale at Kohls and Macys. Those are big in my area.
