Love my yellow/white Avanti. I put three coats of water-based polyurethane with UV protectant in it on mine to smooth out the airflow and protect the plane from hanger rash. Love it. Great video and you have WAY more patience than I have. I haven't covered a model since I left the glow planes in my rear view mirror 20 years ago!
I'm in love with the sound of that Avanti, it's tremendous! Is there anything specific you've done to make it sound so good? I swear other EDFs I've seen flying don't sound anywhere near as good as that. I want one!

Looked at my motor specs different to yours mine Motor, 3658-1920KV in runner motor. ESC 100A with 5A BEC, Ducted fan : 80mm 9 blade fan. Your motor 2300kv Ten Shock CZ112240 ESC Fsky Neuron 80. Totally agree, the Freewing Avanti S is the best plane I ever owned! I will look into the Oracover solution too as I think it looks great.

No, two 4000 mAh 6s batteries connected in parallel (as apposed to series) for a total of 8000 mAh 6s - that’s how he got over 6 min run time 😊
Have you made any changes with the engine of the new freewing avanti. Possibly moved it closets at the end of the plane?
