A small compression drop could be a rusty valve seat from sitting and it will come back up to 170 when its run again imo,a small squirt of oil in the bore would confirm but you know that already lol, and that was a sweet collection of crx's and cool stuff, the 80's stuff is getting rare and prices are rapidly rising here in the UK/worldwide tbh

Just did a built with new eagle rods and CP pistons and compression is reading 120/110. Is that normal for a fresh built? Will compression increase once motor heat up and seat the rings?
Nelson Phillips Yes, that is what I did, I swapped in the k20a2 and drove to the Acura dealership on my old k20a3 ecu and swapped it out for the type s ecu and had them match the key to the new ecu.

I do know the motor was fine, because I shut it off immideately after I flipped and realized. SHOULD I GO GET IT OUT AND TRY TO SAVE IT???????? I NEED TO KNOW ASAP ASAP ASAP!!!!!!

the 1/4 seems to have been repaired and opposite side is rusted out as well. but the rest of the car is clean.

Stock trans will do fine
that engine and trans the way it is, is fine. get a decent turbo kit. i dont think theres really a cheap bolt on turbo kit, mostly custom.

thats actually pretty low. drive it around and let the engine break in a little bit more.

Motor has 150k miles and I was the 2nd owner, car has everything with it even the manual. Manual trans, f22a6 2.3L non vtec
How do you tell the difference of the motors? I want to get into civics and boosting one.
