I like your video, thanx for sharing easy to understand and follow. My plant start to lean down, seems like leggy as I googled it. So I have 3 plants 2 legs on the sides falling down and one in the middle going up as straight plant. Should I cut these on the sides and put them in pot or water there is also some growing small plants in one corner.
Hey! Thanks for your comments.. You can Separate the pups if they are big enough with roots.. If you want to water propagate, Cut the top of the mother plant with just a couple of leaves and put it in water.. It should root in a month or so.. Thank you!
My plant's leaves are not growing. The plant is growing n producing leaves but then are v small and not able to grow. Can u plz suggest wht it can be ? Also should I repot ?
Hi Smita, Thanks for your question. Probably the plant is under stress. Please make sure that the soil is loosely packed with 30% perlite or Coarse sand to allow the water to quickly drain. Water only when the soil is dry from the top 2 inches, don’t overwater the plant.. keep away from direct sunlight.. Cheers! 🙌🏻
Yes! You can but dip the cut end to rooting hormone powder before planting in soil.. Also roots may develop slower than water propagation.. nonetheless its a hardy plant.. Cheers! 🙌🏻
I have a question. I did the method where it's just the stem cutting in soil and the top of the cutting is shrinking up and looks like its maybe molding? Am I overwatering? Should I cut that part off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hey ! Thanks for your question.. If it’s just the stem without the roots, place it horizontally and bury it with soil.. also make sure that the soil doesn’t retain water too much.. mix some perlite for excess water to drain.. follow us on Instagram too.. DM us for immediate replies.. Thanks for the support! 🤗
Thanks for the question.. if you mean repotted leaving the roots, I believe it’s the top portion of the plant.. if you have directly planted to soil it will root but would take longer.. The roots you left, will produce new shoots and become another plant or many.. Thank you! 🙌🏻
Hey ! Thanks for your question.. No, I believe the leaves will start to rot when you cut it.. Leaves of dieffenbachia are not capable of producing new shoots unlike peperomias.. Cheers! 🙌🏻
Looks like you are doing a deep research and spending your valuable time on this.looking forward to more good videos👍
