I have been working on this song in secret for about a month, awaiting Wilbur's return. I hope you enjoy! So much effort and time was put into this. I wanted to make the song semi-jazz. I've never tried anything like this before, but I really like how it turned out! I hope you all enjoy!
I remember in past streams, Wilbur said that if he came back, he would just cause trouble, and it was probably better for everyone on the Dream SMP that he was gone. But now he's back. Are they ready for what Wilbur has in store? Was it a good idea to bring him back? What did they just unleash?
Big shout out to my friend and producer, Grace Thygeson! She has been an immense help to me for so long, always there to help me out with her amazing piano and production skills. She helped me produce this song, along with several other songs of mine, and is currently helping me with my musical as well! She is a talented and amazing person. Once again, thank you!

Wilbur is so cool. I love his chaotic neutral-evil persona. He's a genius and he's cunning. Somehow he's chaotic and calm all at once, and he has fluffy hair. Which isn't as interesting but I like his hair.

Yeah!
Well when /c Wilbur wears black (ex: when he got exiled from Lmanburg to Pogtopia) it usually means something dark and bad. However his actual mc coat was brown. And his other mc skin had a red beanie. So it is more of an interpretation or cannon design choice. (Interpretation being the black and cannon being the brown)

The irony in "I'm not a puppet no you cannot make me dance" while he does exactly what Dream expects. He thinks he defiantly moves yet he moves when made too. All his actions are planned out and deemed worthy

Wilbur is the embodiment of a sleazy jazz villain, this song compliments his revival perfectly. The heavy piano, slow tempo, all mixed with extra sass feels like an overconfident genius in full control slowly approaching you, stalking you as he rises to power again.
Also love the lyric, "Cus I am not your puppet no you cannot make me dance" at the end. The whole reason he was revived was because Dream was trying to get him to free him, but of course he's not gonna listen to him!
I love the fact that this song could be from the perspective ALOT of characters😁.

As an outsider, unfamiliar with the Dream SMP, I greatly appreciate how this song requires no background knowledge to understand and appreciate.
I suppose the mark of a truly great fan work is that people who discover it first will want to experience the original for themselves.

Just revisiting the song that introduced me to your channel. I have to say, it was a pretty gutsy move to work on a song depicting an event that was yet to occur based solely off of your understanding of the moving plot threads at the time, and it seriously paid off. It was so smart to post the song the day of Wilbur’s revival because as I was riding the high of Tommy’s stream and seeing Wilbur alive again, I found this song and your channel. Since then, you have never ceased to amaze me and I have been starstruck by every single song you put out. The quality of your music is comparable to that of Derivakat and CG5, and I am hoping so badly that you will see the same level of success. this is a great idea of whats REALLY going on in wilburs head after he gets resurrected. it compliments promises you couldn't keep so perfectly. this wilbur going, "they are all fools wrapped around my finger" and Niki's song is saying, "Im not buying it" sort of implying she is going to try to stop him.

I like how unique this song is when compared to your other Dream SMP songs. For the most part, the vocals are lower in pitch. And the piece is very jazzy and has some very nice brass. It just feels a lot more confident, loud, and proud than most of the other songs. The one that is the most similar to it is Take You Down but even that is somewhat distant. I like how it reflects Please Don't Make Me Choose though.
